Carmack Danvers was employed as an engineer aboard the USG Ishimura. As a crew member of the CEC's flagship vessel, it can be surmised that Danvers was deployed to the USG Ishimura as an employee of the Concordance Extraction Corporation.

Danvers Role

Before the USG Kellion Arrival

According to some logs found throughout the USG Ishimura, Carmack Danvers assisted Jacob Temple in repairing the damages to the USG Ishimura. During this time, Danvers saw a fellow crew member inflict self-harm and succumb to madness.

At some point, Danvers and Temple got separated when they were repairing the ship. It can be surmised through an audio log that Danvers further devolved into insanity when he got separated from Temple.
