Unlike in the original game, where you have to achieve a perfect score to get the trophy, players will only have to survive the onslaught of Necromorphs to get the trophy since you'll be locked inside the shooting gallery during the entire duration of the mini-game.

Use Stasis to Get Yourself Some Points

While you technically don't need to rack up points to get the achievement that comes with clearing the shooting gallery, if you really want to impress someone by getting a high score in this mini-game, then it's a good idea to save a lot of stasis packs.

You can use your stasis to freeze the Necromorphs in the room and allow yourself to focus solely on hitting the target dummies.

Never Stop Moving During Quarantine

During the quarantine lockdown in the shooting gallery, it's recommended that you try and move around the room to avoid getting cornered by Necromorphs, especially since a few Exploders does show up in the room with you.

Steer clear of any vents you see and try to move while shooting the dummies to score some points.

Pulse Rifle is Recommended

It's recommended that you use the Pulse Rifle in this mini-game due to its fast rate of fire and the amount of ammo it has. You'll be able to shoot more targets, spend less time reloading, and have more ammo in reserve against the horde of Necromorphs inside the room.

Located Aboard the USM Valor in Chapter 9

To get to the shooting gallery, players must first reach Chapter 9 of the story, where you'll have to board the USM Valor after crashing into the USG Ishimura. Once aboard the ship, head to the armory on the first floor and enter the room to the north to get to the shooting range.

Shooting Gallery Becomes Unavailable After Chapter 9

Once you get to the point where you obtain the Singularity Core in Chapter 9, USM Valor will start to self-destruct, prompting you to leave the ship as soon as possible. After this happens, the Shooting Gallery will be unavailable to access as the ship would've been destroyed by the explosion.
