Career

Hailey Johnston was both a pilot and a security officer of the USG Kellion. As a crew member of a shuttle owned by the Concordance Extraction Corporation, it can be assumed that Johnston is employed by the corporation.

Prior to the events aboard the USG Ishimura in the original game, there is no established history given to Johnston.

Johnston's Role

Unexpected Crash Landing

Hailey Johnston was a security officer and one of the pilots operating the USG Kellion. She was one of the pilots, alongside Chen, that was operating the Kellion. When they received no response from the planet-cracker vessel, Johnston was ordered by Zach Hammond to land the USG Kellion on the docking area of the USG Ishimura.

As they began to dock, both Chen and Johnston lost control of the ship, resulting in a crash landing in the interior of the USG Ishimura. She was left in the USG Kellion to assess the damages acquired by their vessel. When Isaac returned to the ship, Johnston asked for assistance in repairing the ship and running diagnostics.

Tragedy on the Kellion

When Isaac helped Johnston with the diagnostics of the USG Kellion, they learned that Necromorphs were overrunning the ship from inside the vessel. As Johnston tried to evacuate the ship, an explosion ultimately led to her death.
