The Divider is an enemy type in Dead Space Remake (2023) which has a tall imposing figure, along with its divided state. Read on to learn the different ways on how to defeat this Necromorph.
Divider Overview
 Divider
Dividers are tall humanoid necromorphs. They’re not as fast as Pregnant necromorphs, and they don’t have sharp bladelike arms like Slashers, but they are still difficult to contend with. When the Dividers approach, they’ll thrash you about. Once destroyed, they divide into small spiderlike creatures that can swarm you quickly. |

How to Beat Dividers
Use the Force Gun
To kill a Divider you must first rid it of its humanoid form.
The fastest way to do this is using the Force Gun; a couple blasts will cause the Divider to divide into its creepers making it vulnerable.
Dealing with Creepers
Although a divider is slow in its humanoid form, its divided pieces move are fast enough to swarm around you.
To deal with creepers, use the Force Gun's alternate fire followed by the Pulse Rifle's alternate fire. This strategy deals with all creepers at once.
Death from Divider
Death by Divider: Isaac's Head is Ripped Off
The Divider will try to hold Isaac using it's tongue or tentacle, if he fails to wrestle it off the divider will use its tentacle to rip his head off from his body.
Death by Strangler: Isaac's Head is Replaced
The Strangler or Head Creeper occasionally jumps on Isaac to take over his body, if Isaac fails to wrestle it off, the Strangler will rip his head off and install itself on his body.
