If you're trying to get as many credits as possible, you'll need to keep an eye out for items such as semiconductors. You can find these conductors by exploring the USG Ishimura extensively, from opening optional rooms to exploring dark corners of the ship.
We have lists of locations for the Ruby Semiconductor and Diamond Semiconductor, so follow these lists and grab them as you go to make extra cash, or even take some time to travel around the Ishimura and pick up all the Ruby Semiconductors.
There are different kinds of Conductors in the game, and each has its own value when sold at the store.
Semiconductor | Sell Price |
---|---|
Bronze Semiconductor | 2000 |
Gold Semiconductor | 3000 |
Ruby Semiconductor | 10000 |
Diamond Semiconductor | 25000 |
The Intensity Director is a spawn organizer for Dead Space Remake which determines when Necromorphs will appear in a room. Necromorphs become more likely to appear each time the player changes rooms, and this works even for leaving and reentering the same room repeatedly.
If you're running low on credits or ammo, you can farm more by repeatedly visiting a room until a Necromorph spawns, defeating it with sparse ammo, picking up the drop, and repeating. You'll just have to be careful not to use too much ammo or take damage, as it could have the opposite effect if you do.
Some doors and lockers require a specific Security Clearance level to open. Although the rewards are modest and not usually enough to merit crawling the map to farm them, if you're returning to an area you've been before, it's worth your time to hunt down some of the Security Clearance doors or lockers you haven't opened yet for additional rewards.
You can spend credits at the ship's store scattered throughout the game. Once you find one, interact with it to see what the store has to offer. You can use the credits earned on buying weapons, ammo, health packs, and RIG upgrades.
