How to Preload

The Dead Space Remake (2023) will be available for preload on January 25, 2023. Read on for more information on when preloads will become available including download start dates and times, availability on EA Play Pro, as well as how to preload for each platform.

When Does Preload Start?

11 AM EST on January 25, 2023 for PS5 and PC

PS5 and PC players will be able to preload their pre-purchased of the Dead Space Remake two full days before launch. Fire up your PC or PS5 a day before and download the game in order to play the remake as soon as it drops on January 27, 2023!

Earlier Preload for Xbox Series X and S Players

As mentioned in the same tweet above, Xbox Series X and S players will be able to preload the game as early as the 20th of January 2023, a full week before it launches!

Available for EA Play Pro Members

As of writing, only EA Play Pro members have been confirmed to have access to the full Dead Space Remake on launch day. Preloads will be available for them provided that they are subscribed to the EA Play Pro service by January 25, 2023.

How to Play on EA Play Pro

EA Play Pro Early Access Highly Unlikely

With a preload time and date set, it is highly unlikely that early access will become available for EA Play Pro members. While this may change in the days leading up to the remake's release, early access is still unavailable for EA Play Pro subscribers at the time of writing.

How to Preload Dead Space Remake

PC (Steam and EA App)

To preload the game on PC, players will need to either have pre-ordered the game or have subscribed to EA Play Pro. Once purchased or subscribed, simply select the game in your library once the 26th of January rolls around and choose the option to preload the game ahead of launch.

Xbox Series X

To preload the Dead Space Remake on the Xbox Series X, you will first need to have pre-ordered game. Once purchased, simply select the Dead Space Remake game tile from your home screen and choose the option to pre-install on the 26th of January.

Playstation 5 (PS5)

To preload the Dead Space Remake on the Playstation 5 (PS5), you will again need to have pre-ordered the game. Once purchased, head on over to Game Library > Dead Space Remake and select the Timer to show the contents of the game. Make sure all available content for the game has a check beside it to ensure it auto-downloads on the 26th of January.
