Force Gun Upgrade Locations and Effects

Subsonic Oscillator	Gravity Wells now cause damage over time.	Purchased from the Store using 12000 Credits.
Gravitic Amplifier	Gravity Wells have a larger radius.	Found in the Guest Consultants Quarters - Floor 3, Crew Quarters.
Suspension Module	Gravity Wells last much longer.	Found in a Master Override Chest next to a corrupted mass at the start of Chapter 11 in the Cargo Bay.

Special Upgrades are brand new items introduced in the remake which extend the upgrade tree of the affected weapon. They also unlock special nodes you can purchase using power nodes which greatly boost the stats of the weapon.

How to Use the Force Gun

Knock Down Groups of Foes

The Force Gun emits a wide-reaching kinetic blast with each shot, making it an excellent tool for knocking down groups of Necromorphs and peeling off their flesh in an instant.

The weapon also excels at dealing with Swarmers and Guardians, as it can deal with these Necromorphs in two shots or less.

Control Crowds with Gravity Wells

In the Remake, the Force Gun's new secondary firing mode launches a Gravity Well at the cost of 3 energy. Each Gravity Well is capable of vacuuming all nearby Necromorphs and debris into a single spot, making it a solid crowd-control tool that pairs well with the weapon's primary fire.
