Red Orbs have the best value on this banner with both of the new units, Anniversary Marth and Elm, colorsharing with Legendary Ayra, who is an elite unit as well.
Anniversary Marth is a versatile unit with multiple effects loaded on his kit, including the ability to grant the powerful 【Fire Emblem】 status effect to himself and his allies.
Elm is arguably the best initiator unit in the entire game, with his ability to completely neutralize his foes' Savior effects and apply 【Undefended】 onto multiple foes after his actions. He doesn't even need to attack to apply 【Undefended】, giving him the ability to cripple his foes even from a distance and even if he somehow cannot punch through his target foe with his +48 bonus true damage per hit.
Should You Pull From This Summon?
Spend your orbs here if you play competitive Aether Raids!
Elm is a must-pull if you play competitive Aether Raids, as his ability to neutralize Savior effects is gamebreaking in a game mode with Safety Fence 2 existing.
Simply initiate with Elm, burst down a unit, and retreat to safety with Canto and movement assists until you are back within Safety Fence 2 range. This is made significantly easier if you have and can use Legendary Sakura, since you can just Canto directly beside her immediately after bursting down a foe.
If the map layout doesn't allow this hit and run tactic, simply have Elm end his turn in place to apply 【Undefended】 onto a foe and use Emblem Lyn to snipe that foe down from a large distance, ignoring the enemy Savior tanks. The mid-turn 【Undefended】 status is metagame defining, as it cannot be cleansed by Freyr or other heroes with cleansing effects.
If you do not play competitive Aether Raids and just aim for a Tier 19-21 finish every week, you can skip this banner. Anniversary Marth is a powerful hero, but we do not consider him a must-pull unit.
