| What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Sword of Peace grants Preempt Pulse and 10 HP post-combat healing to Marth and allies within 3 spaces, grants Marth bonus stats, true damage, true DR, true DR on non-AoE Specials, and 50% DR shred. ・The Fire Emblem grants【Fire Emblem】 and 【Null Panic】 to Marth and nearby allies and grants Marth %DR and Distant Counter. ・Shield of Hope grants Marth Null Follow-Up, and these effects based on total bonuses of 3 allies: 【Potent Follow 100%】, Vantage, Null C-Disrupt, and Desperation. |
|
Might: 16 Range: 1 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). For allies within 3 spaces of unit, grants Atk/Spd+5 and grants Special cooldown count-1 to ally before ally's first attack during combat, and restores 10 HP to those allies after their combat. If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd/Def/Res = number of allies within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit x 3, + 5 (max 14), unit deals +X damage (excluding area-of-effect Specials), reduces damage from foe's first attack by 50% of X during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes), reduces damage from foe's Specials by an additional 50% of X (excluding area-of-effect Specials; X = highest total bonuses among unit and allies within 3 spaces of unit), grants Special cooldown count-1 to unit before unit's first attack, and reduces the percentage of foe's non-Special "reduce damage by X%" skills by 50% during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and restores 10 HP to unit after combat. |
|
Cooldown Count = 2 Boosts damage by 40% of unit's Spd when Special triggers. At start of player phase or enemy phase, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+7, 【Fire Emblem】, and 【Null Panic】 to unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit for 1 turn. Reduces damage from foe's attacks by X% during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials; X = number of allies on the map with the 【Fire Emblem】 effect active, including unit, x 10; max 40%). Unit can counterattack regardless of foe's range. 【Fire Emblem】 Neutralizes "effective against" bonuses for all movement types. Grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd/Def/Res = highest bonus on each stat between unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit (calculates each stat bonus independently) and reduces damage from foe's first attack by 10 during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes). |
|
Enables 【Canto (2)】. If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+8 to unit, unit deals +X damage (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and reduces damage from foe's first attack by X during combat (X = number of allies within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit x 2, + 2; max 8; "first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes). |
|
Inflicts Atk/Spd/Def-5 on foe, neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks, and grants effects based on the total value of bonuses on the 3 allies with the highest bonus totals during combat (excluding unit): If value ≥ 20, if decreasing the Spd difference necessary to make a follow-up attack by 10 would allow unit to trigger a follow-up attack (excluding guaranteed or prevented follow-ups), triggers 【Potent Follow 100%】; If value ≥ 40, if foe initiates combat, unit can counterattack before foe's first attack; and if value ≥ 60, neutralizes effects that prevent unit's counterattacks, and also, if it is first combat initiated by foe that turn, unit can make a follow-up attack before foe's next attack. |
|
Allies within 2 spaces of unit can move to any space within 2 spaces of unit. Unit can move to a space within 2 spaces of any ally within 2 spaces. Inflicts Spd/Def-4 on foes within 3 spaces of unit during combat. |
| Duo Skill |
|---|
| Grants another action to ally with the highest HP that is within 2 spaces of unit and has already acted (excluding unit) and grants 【Potent Follow】 and "neutralizes foe's bonuses during combat" to that ally for 1 turn. (If multiple allies meet the above conditions, effect will not trigger.) (Duo Skills can be used once per map by tapping the Duo button. Duo Skills cannot be used by units deployed using Pair Up.) |
| Duel |
|---|
| If unit is 5★ and level 40 and unit's stats total less than 215, treats unit's stats as 215 in modes like Arena. (Higher-scoring opponents will appear. Stat total calculation excludes any values added by merges and skills.) |

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Anniversary Marth are +Spd and -Res. Anniversary Marth's Spd is his best stat, mostly due to Shield of Hope having a Null Follow-Up effect and a Spd check for the 【Potent Follow 100%】 effect.
Anniversary Marth's Res is his least important stat and can be safely taken as a bane as it won't impact any of his matchups.
We recommend +Spd when merging Anniversary Marth up to +10 for similar reasons above.

Anniversary Marth's base kit already works well for his role as an all-purpose unit. Emblem Eirika ring allows him to use his Vantage and Desperation effects to the fullest with its brave effect, but isn't necessary on a budget.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Anniversary Marth is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Anniversary Marth's exclusive weapon Sword of Peace grants Atk/Spd+5, a Preempt Pulse effect, and 10 HP post-combat healing to allies within 3 spaces of unit.
In combat, Sword of Peace grants Marth up to Atk/Spd/Def/Res+14, bonus true damage equal to the total stat bonuses from among Marth and allies within 3 spaces, bonus true damage reduction on foe's first attack and on foe's Special trigger equal to half that amount, 50% damage reduction piercing, a Preempt Pulse effect, and 10 HP post-combat healing.
While Sword of Peace isn't overflowing with effects, it has enough that make it worth using, providing support to allies, bonus stats, true damage, and true damage reduction.
Anniversary Marth's exclusive Special The Fire Emblem grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+7, 【Fire Emblem】, and 【Null Panic】 to unit and allies within 2 spaces at the start of each phase.
【Fire Emblem】 is a new powerful status effect that neutralizes all movement-type based effective damage, a modified Bonus Doubler effect, and 10 true damage reduction on foe's first attack.
The Fire Emblem also has built-in Distant Counter and grants Marth percentage-based damage reduction, up to 40%, based on the number of allies on the map with the 【Fire Emblem】 effect active.
The Fire Emblem is a versatile Special that grants the new and powerful 【Fire Emblem】 status among other effects.
Good allies to grant 【Fire Emblem】 include units like Valentine's Rhea who can withstand multiple attacks and removes one of her only checks which is armor-effective damage.
Anniversary Marth's exclusive B skill Shield of Hope inflicts Atk/Spd/Def-5 on his foe and grants him a Null Follow-Up effect.
Additionally, based on the total value of stat bonuses on the 3 allies with the highest bonus totals, Shield of Hope grants these additional effects:
Stacking bonuses is easily done using The Fire Emblem, which immediately grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+7 and 【Null Panic】. With just The Fire Emblem, each ally already accounts for +28 for Shield of Hope's bonus checks, making it easy to reach the top threshold.
Anniversary Marth also comes with a Duo Skill which refreshes an ally's actions and grants them 【Potent Follow】 and a neutralize foe's bonuses status effect. This targets the ally with the highest HP within 2 spaces and has already acted this turn.
Take care when using this, because if multiple allies meet the conditions, this skill will have no effect!
As a flying unit, Anniversary Marth takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. However, this is negated by the 【Fire Emblem】 status.
Ensure that Anniversary Marth always has the 【Fire Emblem】 active when facing enemy bow units!

We initially had Marth ranked 9.5 due to requiring 3 allies nearby to reach the 60 bonus threshold, similar to Winter Alear who needed 3 allies nearby for Emblems' Miracle. Even then, a good chunk of Marth's power when he reaches the 60 bonus threshold is tied to the Vantage and Desperation effects, which can be negated by Hardy Bearing. We are still testing him out in competitive game modes, mostly against the top tier units. We will finalize his rating once we have sufficient testing.
