What Kind of Character Are They? ・Staff of Yngvi grants Edain warping up to 6 spaces away, 【Empathy】, 【Canto (1)】, and a guaranteed follow-up attack whenever she uses a Rally or movement assist, and grants bonus Atk/Res, true damage, and a Preempt Pulse effect during combat.

If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Res = 6 + 20% of unit's Res at start of combat, deals damage = 20% of unit's Res (excluding area-of-effect Specials; if the "calculates damage from staff like other weapons" effect is not active, damage from staff is calculated after combat damage is added), and grants Special cooldown count-1 to unit before unit's first attack during combat.

If used on turn 2 onward, also grants another action to unit and inflicts "restricts movement to 1 space" on unit and Pair Up cohort through their next action.
(Effects that can trigger on turn 2 will not trigger again for 2 turns after triggering. Using this skill has no effect on Special cooldown charge and unit does not gain EXP or SP. This skill is treated as a Rally Assist skill.)

If an Assist skill is used, unit's Special cooldown count does not go down. When Special triggers, boosts damage by 45% of foe's Res (calculates damage from staff after combat damage is added). If this Special is triggered during combat, after combat, inflicts status on target and foes within 2 spaces of target preventing counterattacks through their next actions.

If unit initiates combat or is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Res during combat = 8 + number of allies within 3 spaces of unit × 2 (max 12), and calculates damage from staff like other weapons.

At start of player phase or enemy phase, inflicts Spd/Res-6 and 【Discord】 on foes with Res less than unit's Res and that are within 2 spaces of another foe through their next actions.
Inflicts penalty on foe's Spd/Res during combat = number of foes inflicted with 【Discord】 within 2 spaces of target, including target, × 2, + 4 (max 10) and deals damage = 15% of unit's Res (excluding area-of-effect Specials).

At start of turn, if unit's Special cooldown is at its maximum value, grants Special cooldown count-1 to unit. At start of turn, if any infantry ally's Special cooldown count is at its maximum value and that ally's max HP < unit's max HP, grants Special cooldown count-1 to that ally. +Res / -Def

The best IVs for Edain are +Res and -Def. Boosting Res improves Edain's magical bulk and damage output, with Staff of Yngvi's Res checks for both bonus stats and bonus true damage, making Res the optimal IV to boost with a boon.

Edain's Def is lackluster at only base 20 and can be safely taken as a bane.

+Res for a +10 merge

We recommend a +Res IV when merging Edain up to +10 as it is her most important stat.

Edain's exclusive Staff of Yngvi has a built-in warping effect allowing Edain to warp to any space adjacent to any ally within 5 spaces without any necessary conditions, giving her amazing mobility.

If Edain uses a Rally or movement assist, including her default Magic Shield+, Staff of Yngvi gives Edain and the target ally 【Empathy】, 【Canto (1)】, and a status granting a guaranteed follow-up attack upon initiation.

In combat, Staff of Yngvi grants Edain bonus Atk/Res equal to 6 + 20% of her Res, bonus true damage equal to 20% of her Res, and a Preempt Pulse effect.

Staff of Yngvi provides mobility, support, and offensive power, making it a nearly complete weapon in all aspects.
