This weapon on its own is not extremely powerful. However, what makes this weapon unique is that when the player drops below 30% HP, it increases damage output by 60%. This can be used in conjunction with the Clever Rat's Ring for an even larger damage output.
Note the damage increased also applies on magic. Pure Magic build users will find this combination extremely potent.
