This is a guide to the Megingjord Armor in Valheim. Learn how to craft the Megingjord to increase carry weight, what materials are needed to craft and upgrade it, and all stats and information.

The maximum weight the player can carry is capped at 300 for the majority of the game, which can be cumbersome for carrying items like Ore which cannot be brought through Portals, as well as the Dragon Eggs required to summon Moder.
The only way to increase the Carry Weight available is to purchase the Megingjord from Haldor the Trader for 950 coins, raising the carrying capacity to a whopping 450.

Haldor the Trader is an NPC rarely found in the Black Forest Biome. Haldor will trade Valuable Items for Coins, and sell items which are otherwise unobtainable in the game.
This item can be purchased Haldor for 950 Coins.
If you don't mind using cheats to obtain it, the Megingjord can easily be spawned with the console command.
To spawn the item, first turn on cheat codes by typing imacheater in the F5 console, and use the spawn BeltStrength command to create the item.
