If you don't mind using cheats to find it, Blob can also easily be spawned with the console command.

To spawn the enemy, first turn on cheat codes by typing imacheater in the F5 console, and use the spawn Blob command to spawn the enemy.

Blob Battle Strategy

Hit and Run

The best tactic to do against Blobs is a Hit and Run strategy. Blobs take some time to register that you are near them. This makes it very easy for players to hit them once and run away before they start their attack.

When executed properly, this tactic is so effective that you can kill Blobs without any weapons or armor.
