To get the One Gun Trophy in Dead Space Remake (2023), you are obliged to use the Plasma Cutter only for the entire run of the game. Read on to learn more about the requirements for this trophy and what is the easiest way to achieve it.

How to Get One Gun Trophy
Finish the Game Using Only the Plasma Cutter

To get the One Gun trophy, you have to finish the game using only the Plasma Cutter.
Condition Parameters
The difficulty you are playing on does not matter for this trophy, as long as you beat the game with only a Plasma Cutter.
You are also able to equip other weapons although we highly discourage this as firing a weapon other than the Plasma Cutter nulls your run for this trophy.
The trophy is also obtainable in New Game Plus, making it easier for you to achieve.
Do a One Gun Run on New Game Plus
To make your playthrough easier in doing this challenge, we recommend doing it on New Game Plus with a fully upgraded Plasma Cutter and Level 6 Suit.
This makes your playthrough easier as you deal more damage to enemies, easily knock them down with a melee punch, and gain access to a 30% bonus armor.
Furthermore, you also have access to a fully upgraded Stasis & Kinesis Module, making it easier to control the flow of necromorph encounters and saving ammo.
New Game Plus Rewards, Changes, and What Carries Over
Play on Story Difficulty
Although the difficulty of which you decide to play this run depends entirely on the challenge you desire, playing on story difficulty makes this trophy achievable in no time.
In story difficulty, necromorphs are easily dismembered and you automaticaly heal yourself even without Med Packs in your inventory.
You can also sell your Med Packs as you no longer have any use for them, and use the credits to buy Plasma Energy instead.
All Difficulty Settings: Is There a Difficulty Trophy?
Use Kinesis, Environmental Hazards, and Necromorph Limbs
You are allowed to use your Kinesis Module to hurl objects at necromorphs or even impale them with sharp objects including their own limbs!
It is best to exploit your Kinesis ability as much as possible as it greatly helps in all encounters, specially Boss Fights.
How to Pin Enemies: Raise the Stakes Trophy Guide
Know your Encounters
To avoid wasting ammo, we highly recommend memorizing your encounters with Special Necromorphs in the game.
Memorizing when you'll encounter them allows you to strategize how to deal with them efficiently, ultimately saving your ammo and stasis charges.
