Obtained by chopping down Pine Trees in Black Forest biome.
If you don't mind using cheats to obtain it, Pine Cones can easily be spawned with the console command.
To spawn the item, first turn on cheat codes by typing imacheater in the F5 console, and use the spawn PineCone command to create the item.
