If you don't mind using cheats to find it, Stone Golem can also easily be spawned with the console command.

To spawn the enemy, first turn on cheat codes by typing imacheater in the F5 console, and use the spawn StoneGolem command to spawn the enemy.

Useful for Farming Stone

A Stone Golem's attacks can break the terrain around the Mountains Biome. You can use this to your advantage when trying to farm more Stone while in the Mountains Biome.

Stone Golem Battle Strategy

Use Pickaxes

Stone Golem have a very high damage resistance against a lot of weapons in the game. The best thing to use against a Stone Golem is a Pickaxe.

Using pickaxes against Stone Golems is way better than using other weapons since pickaxes ignore some of the damage resistance the Stone Golem has.

Parry its Attacks

To be able to parry a Stone Golem's attacks you will need the Black Metal Shield, which is currently the strongest round shield in the game. This method is very effective but not recommeded because of the taxing requirement it has.
