While Luka will use a Mechanical Overlord as its main damage dealer, his other Aether Spirits are Abberant types. So use a team that consists of Abberant and Mechanical Aether Spirits. Do note that your units should be level 6 before battling Luka!
The strategy to beat Luka is to have the Frigid Prowler buff itself using its Skill and use its Ultimate whenever it's available. With this, place it at the leftmost side of the field and put the Everwinter Shadewalker beside it.
Constantly heal the Everwinter Shadewalker using the Obedient Dracolion and the Warp Trotter. It is also a great idea to give the Warp Trotter the Morale Activation Chip which buffs the team's DMG, DMG RES, and SPD. It can be obtained from Bronya's Hyperlink Match.

How to Beat Luka in Aetherium Wars
Spam the Frigid Prowler's Skill
The Frigid Prowler will be the sole damage dealer for this team. The goal is to spam its Skill during its turn and use its Ultimate whenever possible. It will be easier to beat Luka and his team with the Prowler since most of his Aether Spirits are Abberant types.
Heal the Everwinter Shadewalker
The Frigid Prowler's Skill will absorb the Everwinter Shadewalker's HP. The Obedient Dracolion and the Warp Trotter should prioritize healing the Shadewalker so that the Prowler will continue buffing itself!
Delay the Automaton Direwolf's Turn
The Everwinter Shadewalker's Basic ATKs and abilities should be exclusively used against the Automaton Direwolf in order to delay its turn. The Automaton Direwolf is a heavy-hitting DPS unit and can also do some follow-up attacks due to its Talent, so delaying its turn is necessary for you to win the battle.
The Everwinter Shadewalker's Basic ATK can delay a target's action by 40%. The Shadewalker's Ultimate also has a chance to freeze its target. Hence, it is a great unit to use if you want to delay an enemy's actions.
