How to Beat Blightweaver Great Centipede
Use Poise Break to Deal Massive Damage
You can deal massive damage to Blightweaver by inflicting it with Poise Break. You can infuse your weapon with Poise Break using Temperance after unlocking and equipping the Bone Needle - Poise Break node in the Impetus Repository.
Use the Vermillion War Club's Misty Breath Skill to Inflict Poise Break
Using Misty Breath releases yellow dust from your weapon that builds up Poise Break. However, it costs one Skyborn Might to use. Combining this skill with the Poise Break Temperance will increase the buildup rate, inflicting Poise Break much faster.
The Vermillion War Club is a preorder-exclusive weapon. If you didn’t preorder the game, this weapon won’t be available to you.

Lead to the Electrified Stone Structures
Take cover behind the electrified stone structures marked paper talismans when the Great Centipede begins its attack. This will cause it to strike the structure instead, temporarily immobilizing the enemy for a few seconds.

| Pincer Strike |
Blightweaver strikes the ground with its pincers, moving closer with each strike, then raises both pincers and strikes the ground. Don't attempt to get behind it during the attack, since it can track your movement and still hit you. Dodge forward to its sides before the strike lands, then dodge the second attack. |
| Ground Stomp |
Blightweaver raises one side of its body and stomps the ground. Sprint to the opposite side and get some damage in during this move. |
| Tail Whip |
Blightweaver whips its tail, damaging anyone that gets hit, then faces you. Dodge forward before the attack hits to close the gap between you and Blightweaver. |
| Beastly Roar |
This can be easily mitigated by equipping the Dracolich Pendant, which prevents flinching from roars, as this will allow you to land a few hits before Blightweaver uses her other moves. You can also avoid the move by keeping your distance and using Spells or Throwables instead to deal damage from afar. |
| Shrouded Strike |
Blightweaver releases corruption-infused smoke and conceals itself before launching a surprise attack. Its glowing pincers remain visible through the smoke, so watch them carefully. Dodge to the side or backward to avoid the attack. Avoid dodging forward, as you'll get inflicted with corruption when you enter the smoke. |

Blightweaver strikes with both pincers from the sides then meeting at the front. Dodge backward to create distance and prepare for follow-up attacks, or dodge forward get in close and land a hit. |
| Tail Spin |
Blightweaver coats its tail in corruption, then spins forward toward you. Avoid dodging backward, as you may get caught in the attack's animation and get hit. |
| Leap Attack |
Blightweaver jumps into the air and deals damage in a small area around it upon landing. Dodge forward to get behind Blightweaver and land some attacks. |

| Magic Circle |
Blightweaver summons a large magic circle that fires lasers at you six to seven times. Dodge as soon as each laser lights, but be careful of Blightweaver's other attacks during this move. |
| Earthly Burrow |
Blightweavers burrows into the ground and moves toward your location, then erupts from below, indicated by the fiery glow on the ground. It executes this moves four times. To dodge perfectly, wait a split second after the ground begins to glow before evading. Blightweaver is immune to damage during this phase, but you can land hits when it exposes its head during the fourth attack. |

Anonymous 4 monthsironically the boss your posting this complaint under is vulnerable to poise damage. I used a one handed sword with the discipline skill that does extra poise damage with the poise damage temperance and was able to remove 50% of his health just by letting him stun himself on the pillars then poise break combo him, he did his little underground attack combo, surfaced hit another stun pillar and second poise combo killed him.
