1. Talk to Huang Jian'e in Shu Sanctum
Once you've reached Shu Sanctum after defeating Dhutanga in Lightzen Temple, talk to her and she'll give you the Zhenwu Hairpin.
2. Give Huang Jian'e the Trinity Bell After Lu Hongliu
Giving Huang Jian'e the Trinity Bell after obtaining it from defeating Lu Hongliu. Use the Dream option at a shrine once, then talk to Huang Jian'e again. She'll say shes heading to Cloudspire to set everything right and will give you the Greet emote and a Recovery Pill as a thank you for avenging her.

Don't Give the Taoist Token After Blightweaver
After defeating Blightweaver Great Centipede in Bandit Cave, you'll have the option to give the Toaist Token to Huang Jian'e in Shu Sanctum, granted that she's still there. Giving her the Taoist Token will make her more deranged, as she insists she’s innocent through her dialogue. She'll disappear from Shu Sanctum after entering the dream in the shrine, preventing you from giving her the Trinity Bell.
Then, at the Refugee Camp, you can give the Broken Token to a person inside one of the tents with the paper talismans. After entering a dream, you'll encounter a hostile Huang Jian'e near the tent. Defeating her will make her drop her Zhenwu armor set.
You'll only be locked out of giving her the Trinity Bell if you defeated Blightweaver first before Lu Hongliu and gave her the Taoist Token before getting the Trinity Bell.

3. Agree to Help Her in Cloudspire Outskirts
Talk to Huang Jian'e in Cloudspire Outskirts and agree to help her deliver the Zhenwhu Tome to Treasurer Li in Snowfall Palace. She'll give you another Recovery Pill as thanks for accepting her request.
4. Give the Red Mercury Crystal After Defeating Treasurer Li
Go to Cloudspire City and find Treasurer Li Wanyan near the stairway leading to the palace. Defeat him to obtain the Red Mercury Crystal and his Treasurer Armor set. Then, return to Huang Jian'e's place in Cloudspire Outskirts and give her the Red Mercury Crystal. She'll reward you with a piece of Fixed Origin Pill and a Brilliant Red Feather.
5. Talk to Huang Jian'e in Zhenwu Temple
Speaking with her will allow you to summon her during the Fierce Tiger Zhang Xianzhong fight. Note that progressing Nian Suichang's questline will summon both him and Huang Jian'e against Zhang Xianzhong.
6. Talk to Huang Jian'e Nearby After Fierce Tiger
Enter a dream on the shrine after the boss fight, then speak with Huang Jian'e near the burned houses. Enter a dream again, then return to her location to collect her Zhenwu armor set. Since you already received the Zhenwu Hairpin after speaking with her back is Shu Sanctum, you'll just get the chest, bracer, and leg pieces of the set.

Huang Jian'e is located near Shu Sanctum's entrance, standing beside the wooden structure in the middle.

From the Snowy Passage shrine, proceed forward to Cloudspire Outskirts and turn left after passing through the gate. Walk toward the house to find Huang Jian'e standing in the doorway.

Zhenwu Temple
Progress through the interconnected structures of Zhenwu Temple, and you'll eventually find Huang Jian'e in one of the buildings.
Zhenwu Altar
After defeating the Fierce Tiger, enter a dream on the nearby shrine, then proceed to the burned houses to find Huang Jian'e on the floor.
