How Does Aerial Bulwark Work?
Time the Release on Enemy Attacks
Aerial Bulwark is the default Discipline skill for Spears and allows you to dodge and counter enemy attacks as you time the release to attack. Make sure to use this when you already have Skyborn Might stacks on hand so you get a faster charge-up time than usual.
Do note that this Discipline skill cannot convert Boldheart into Skyborn Might. Additionally, try to get the Aerial Bulwark - Variant so you can get more Skyborn Might stacks while charging and gain damage reduction.
Take Rock Plume for Resilience
Rock Plume is extremely helpful for this skill as it allows you to continue attacking without getting interrupted after procing Fleetness from Aerial Bulwark.

How to Unlock Aerial Bulwark
Unlock in Impetus Repository
Aerial Bulwark can be unlocked in the Impetus Repository for 1 Red Mercury Essence. This discipline can be found in the Spear Branch of the Repository. You will have to unlock nodes along its path to reach this node.

Anonymous 4 monthsI can't for the life of me figure out how to proc the fleeting while charging this move. Also Aerial Bulwark doesn't seem to convert the stacks of my bold heart. Any tips?

Hello! Aerial Bulwark requires you to time the release attack against enemy attacks to proc fleetness and gain Skyborn Might. Charging the move will not do anything unless you have its Variant slotted in, which also gives more Skyborn Might. The team has updated the page to clarify this.
