Final Boss in the Game
Feathery Ambition Xuanyangzi is the final boss of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Defeating him can trigger three of the four possible endings, depending on the choices and actions you take during your playthrough.
The other ending is the shortest one, where Bo Magus serves as the final boss instead. This route is triggered if you have finished the Red-Clad Lady's questline and refused to help the Storyteller. The game then ends after defeating Bo Magus, causing you to miss out on the final three boss fights.

How to Beat Feathery Ambition Xuanyangzi
Summon the Storyteller
Try summoning the Storyteller as soon as you enter the boss arena, hoping that you'll have a bit of time to finish the animation without getting attacked. Summoning mid-battle might be difficult, since Xuanyangzi tends to chains his attacks in quick succession.

Xuanyangzi flies up in the air and stomps on the ground, creating a kinetic wave that knocks anything nearby him. Dodge back and maintain your distance to avoid it. |

Xuanyangzi flies up high and slams down to his prey quickly, slamming and significantly damaging anything below him. Dodge at any direction to avoid being damaged. |

From the sky, Xuanyangzi slices his sword towards his target, before slamming it down, creating a kinetic wave around him. Dodge at the right time to avoid getting hit, and attack him from the flank or behind. |
| Winged Slammer |
Using his wings, Xuangyangzi slams it down twice, hurting the target massively before slamming both wings at the same time, creating a kinetic blast. Stay clear from his front before the final attack! |
| Winged Striker |
Xuanyangzi rears back a wing, and strikes it a distance away. Dodge to the side to avoid getting hit. |
| Feathered Madness |
Xuanyangzi flies up in the air and summons red crackling energy to strike the earth below, before slamming down on his target, creating a massive energy wave around him. Dodge at the right time to avoid the damage. |
| Clawed Disrupter |
With his monstrous claws, Xuanyangzi swipes at his target, moving quickly to close the distance. Dodge towards him at the right moment, and attack him from behind. |
| Whirlwind |
Xuanyangzi gets down on all four and prepares to swipe his claws in an arc around him. You can attack him while he's charging his attack and dodge at the right time to avoid getting hit. |
| Sword Pulse |
Xuanyangzi rears back charges an attack that makes his sword glow. When he thrusts, the sword shoots a bolt of energy and can be dodged at that time. |
| Running Jump |
Xuanyangzi rears back and takes a running leap towards his target, slamming down and creating a blast around him. Stay clear of the path in front of him to avoid getting damaged. |

Xuanyangzi uses his claws and strikes twice in front of him. Stay clear of his front, and dodge towards his side or behind him. |

Striking with a glowing sword, Xuanyangzi comes down in a rage and strikes madly below him. Dodge to the side and attack his flank. |

Xuanyangzi creates a surge of power using water to slice through and slam Wuchang around. Stay clear of the sword and attack from behind. |
| Immortal's Rage |
Xuanyangzi summons multiple missiles that will home towards its target. Keep dodging at the right moment to avoid getting damaged by its blasts. |
