1. Light the Beacons in the Outskirts 2. Slay Ai Nenqi in the Rebel Camp 3. Defeat Liu Cheng'en |
To lower the bridge to Cloudspire City, you can either light the beacons in the Outskirts or defeat Ai Nenqi in the Rebel Camp. We recommend doing both to not miss any valuable items that may help you and your builds in the future.
1. Light the Beacons in the Outskirts
| 1.1 |  Upon interacting with the shrine in the Snowy Passage, head straight into the village and take the path to the left until you see Rebels and Feathered enemies fighting on a staircase. |

| 1.2 |  Continue climbing the staris until you see a tent to your right. Defeat all enemies that try to attack you and open the treasure chest to obtain Lost Remains. Proceed to the right and climb the ladder, behind the shack with you can loot the Obliterate Rejuvenation benediction. |
| 1.3 |  Exit the shack and go back to the staircase until you reach a Butcher (one carrying bodies) and head towards the highest building on the right. If you progressed Qiao Ying's questline, you can also find her in a nearby building. |
| 1.4 |  Climb the tower and light the fire to burn the Red Tree below the area. You can obtain the Gunpowder Spear from a nearby chest. You can also go to the area of the first Red Tree and activate the Shrine to save it as your checkpoint. |
| 1.5 |  Climb the ladder in front of the first tower to reach the second red tree. From there, take the left path and stick to the walls on the right until you reach a ladder that leads you to the second tower. Climb the tower and light the fire to burn the second red tree. Kill the Ming Guard to obtain a Brilliant Red Feather and open the nearby chest to obtain a Forgotten Remembrance. |
| 1.6 |  Go back down from the second tower and go to the right until you reach a burning house. On the right of the burning house, you will encounter a special enemy that drops the Darkfrost Flames. In front of the burning house, you can pick up a Brilliant Red Feather and encounter an inner demon that drops Bo Blood. |
| 1.7 |  Go back to the second tower and go to the left (back to the red tree) and stick to the wall on the left until you reach a forking path. Take the path on the right to reach the third tower and unlock the shortcut. |
| 1.8 |  Kill the Rebel manning the cannon then proceed to the red tree. Take a right on the first corner to kill a special enemy and obtain a Brilliant Red Feather and a Red Mercury Essence. A nearby chest will also grant you the Twin Bandit Blades. Then make a right to the second corner and reach the gate and unlock it to create a shortcut from the Shrine. Before you reach the gate, you'll encounter a Gold Benediction Gate that leads to the Rebel Camp. |
| 1.9 |  On the right of the Shrine take the path of the left to reach a special enemy that drops a Brilliant Red feather and a Red Mercury Essence. You can also pick up the item on the broken bridge to jump down to a Shrine leading to Mort Grotto. ▶︎ Mort Grotto Walkthrough |
| 1.10 |  From the Cannon, turn left towards the cliff until you reach the third tower. Climb the tower and light the fire to burn the third red tree and lower the bridge to Snowfall Palace. You can also pick up the Backstab Force benediction in a nearby chest. |
2. Slay General of the North, Ai Nenqi in the Rebel Camp
| 2.1 |  The best way to reach the Rebel Camp is to use the Golden Benediction Gate near the Cloudspire Outskirts Shrine. Make your way through the mine until you reach and obtain the Child's Hope Pendant. Hug the wall to your left until you reach a ladder that leads up to the well. |

| 2.2 |  Climb the ladder and kill all enemies that attack you. On your right, there will be a Brilliant Red Feather below the archer's tower. Afterwards, take the path to the right to reach the Rebel Camp Shrine. |
| 2.3 |  On your way to the Shrine, the last tent on your left will have a cannon that will shoot you as soon as you pass through. Dodge through the cannon fire and kill the Rebel inside the tent. You'll also find the Bravery Pendant inside the nearby chest. |
| 2.4 |  Kill the enemy near the Rebel Camp Shrine to obtain the Rebel Camp Key to unlock Ai Nengqi's boss fight area. The enemy will also drop the Thunderstorm Spell as well as the Secret Letter valuable item. |
| 2.5 |  From the Shrine, take the hillpath to the right and climb the watchtower to get the Obliteration Might benediction. |
| 2.6 |  Return to the Rebel Camp Shrine and take the hillpath on the left to reach the gate to Ai Nengqi. Defeat Ai Nengqi to light all towers and lower the bridge to Snowfall City. |
Defeating Ai Nenqi will automatically light all beacons in Cloudspire Outskirts. This means that the exploding enemies will no longer continuously spawn.
3. Defeat Ming General Liu Cheng'en

From the Snowy Passage shrine, go up the path on the left and open the door ahead, leading directly to Cloudspire Outskirts.

You must find a way to lower the drawbridge that connects Cloudspire Outskirts and Cloudspire City. Although the obvious choice is to light the beacons, the secrets as to why rebels attack the outskirts lie in the Rebel Camp.
