Is There a Map in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers?

There is No Map Available

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers does not have an in-game map, unlike its other Soulslike contemporaries. You will need to utilize your compass and memorize your surroundings to find points of interest throughout the game.

Follow the Compass

Compass

The compass is shown in the bottom right of the HUD. It will show markers that will point you to certain areas or characters of interest.

Yellow markers indicate characters that can be talked with while red markers indicate Worship Shrines that have not been accessed yet.

Cuckoos Can Indicate Unvisited Areas

Cuckoo

Cuckoos are birds that can be seen perched on every area of the game and will give an Aurum Feather when hit. They spawn once per playthrough, meaning that seeing one that you can use them to indicate if you have been in an area or not.

Divination Crescents Reveal Invisible Paths

Shu Sanctum Shu Sanctum Bridge Divination Crescent

Divination Crescents are small markers that help reveal invisible paths. These serve as a guide for platforms or roads that you can walk on without falling down to your death.

Pinwheels Indicate the Correct Path

Pinwheels

Pinwheels let you know that you are going to the right direction since they are placed by He Youzai, an important NPC in the main story. Seeing a pinwheel indicates that you are following the correct path to progressing the main story.

Unlock Shrines for Easier Exploration

Teleportation

Prioritize unlocking shrines in every area to update your revive checkpoint and to unlock them for Teleportation. This will make it easier to backtrack certain areas you need to visit.
