Reverent Temple	First shrine encountered at the start of the game.
Buddha Cliffs	Found at the mountain scaffolding outside the Reverent temple.
Lightzen Temple	Found in a small village area before fighting Man-Eating Dhutanga.
Shu Sanctum	Located at the tall building in the village area after Lightzen Temple.
Annalum	Found in a separate mountain near the area with a Face-Changer.
Mercury Workshop	Located under Shu Sanctum.
Bandit Cave	Found in the lowest depths of Mercury Workshop before the Blightweaver Centipede boss fight.
Doomwillow Beach	The first shrine found after exiting the Bandit Cave.
Lu Mansion	Found in Doomwillow Beach near a burned village with an elevator.
Corpse Pits	Located in the area found after defeating Soulwood.
Palace Hill	Found at the back area of the Tang Emperor's Palace.
Lotus Pond	Appears after defeating Commander Honglan.

Cloudspire Shrines

Cloudspire Shrines
Hillswatch	Found after crossing the bridge from the cave exit.
Snowy Passage	Located in the area after meeting Sun Kewang and Li Dingo.
Mort Grotto	Found below Cloudspire Outskirts with a cave leading to the Rebel Camp.
Cloudspire Outskirts	Located in a courtyard with a red tree, under the tower with the first beacon.
Rebel Camp	Located near a tent behind two enemies with cannons.
Snowpeak Pass	Appears after defeating Ming General Liu Cheng'en.
Cloudspire City	Located at the end of the alley with a barricade.
Snowfall Palace	Found at the very top of Cloudspire City.
Treasure Trove	Appears after defeating the Mistress of the Night, Huang Yan.
Shaft Entrance	Found in the scaffolding near the Treassure Trove.
Bride's Boudoir	Located deeper in the Shaft.
Wedding Hall	Appears after defeating the Perfect Bride, Fang Ling.

Chapter 2: Cloudspire Walkthrough

Mt. Zhenwu Shrines

Mt. Zhenwu Shrines
Battlefield Pass	Found at the end of the cave passsage from the right of the Hillswatch Shrine.
Refugee Camp	Located after crossing the bridge from the Battlefield pass exit.
Avian Dwelling	Located at the top most part of the forest area.
Avian Marsh	Found inside a destroyed shack at the very bottom of the forest area.
Zhenwu Antechamber	Located at the top of the stairs in Zhenwu Temple.
Pavilion of Knowledge	Found inside acave behind the pagodas of Zhenwu Temple.
Altar Gate	Located in the area before fighting the Fierce Tiger.
Zhenwu Altar	Appears after defeating Zhang Xianzhong
Ferry Overlook	Found na wooden bridge that connects the ferry to the cave from the Zhenwu Altar.
Bai Mansion	Found near the docks after taking the boat.
Rivulet	Appears after defeating Bai Kru.

Worship's Rise in Ruins Shrines

Worship's Rise in Ruins
Annalum	Located on the staircase leading to Shu Sanctum.
Palace Vegetable Garden	Found beyond the lotus pond with a Godguard.
Palace Pass	Located near a wall outpost before fighting Vermillion Feathers Honglan
Palace Entrance	Found after using the Benediction Gate after the Vermillion Feathers Honglan boss fight.
Bo Shrine	Appears after defeating the Bo Magus.
Shu Sanctum	Found near the Lu Courtyard where you fight the Nightmare Demon.
Reverent Temple	Found in the same spot as the starting area, reachable through the large gate of the temple.
Burning Cavern	Found inside a cave behind the Reverent temple.

Chapter 4: Worship's Rise in Ruins Walkthrough

Bo Capital Shrines

Worship's Rise in Ruins
Capital Entrance	The first shrine that appears after being transported to the Bo Capital.
Depths of the Capital	Found near a benediction gate which you can reach by following the left path of the Capital Entrance shrine.
Shrine Dwelling	Answer the Benediction Gate near the Depths of the Capital shrine with "The Wheel turns anew".
The Forbidden Lands	Found before the Feathery Ambition Xuanyangzi.
Gate of Truth	Appears after defeating the final boss, Xuanyangzi.

Enter the Dream to Reset the World and Advance the Story

Choosing to enter the dream will fully restore Wuchang's health and reset her consumables, like the Manna Vase. At times, entering the dream is required to advance the story of side quests or even the main story.

Note that this will also revive most enemies that you have defeated and reset the environmental traps you already activated.

Complete Story Walkthrough

Temper to Empower Weapons

Tempering is done to enhance weapons with status effects or elements. Use Bone Needles and Stone Needles to set the type of effects Tempering will give your weapon.

Bone Needles determine the effect or element that applies to your weapon while Stone Needles give additional buffs that compliment the Bone Needle.

Bone Needles can be acquired from the Impetus Repository, which is unlocked after fighting Dhutanga, while Stone are acquired by defeating certain enemies in the world.

Add Benedictions to Weapons

Shrines are also where you attach or detach Benedictions to your weapons to acquire special effects that will enchance your build. You can equip 3 Benedictions at a time: 1 for Wisdom, 1 for Memory, and 1 for Oath.

You get Benedictions through looting chests and Benediction Gates across the land of Shu.

Invoke for Rare Items and Increase Madness

Invoke at the Shrine to pray for rare items. This is essentially a shop where you can trade items for an increase in the Madness meter.

Depending on your playstyle, Invoking could be an efficient way in making sure you get more Madness to access some specific skills to enable your build more.

Stash and Deposit Items in Warehouse

Warehouse is a storage box where you can stash and deposit items. This is also where loot that cannot be picked up automatically go when you exceed maximum carry capacity.

Equip Discipline Skills

This is where you change the Discipline attached to weapons. Disciplines are skills that are tied to only specific weapon types. Discipline skills can be acquired from the Impetus Repository.

Level Up in Impetus Repository

Use or refine Red Mercury Essence to level up and unlock nodes in the Impetus Repository, giving Wuchang various skills, effects, Discipline, and allowing her to upgrade weapons. You can respec the skill tree anytime withouth cost.

Teleport to Other Shrines

The teleport functions allows instant traversal to previously visited Shrines. Doing this will revive most enemies and fully restore Wuchang's health.

You Can Check a Characters Quest Status in the Teleport Menu

If you see a character's grayscale portrait in an area in the teleport menu, it means their quest has not been completed yet. Completing a character's quest will remove their grayscale portrait in the teleport menu.

You're missing the Tome Shrine in Mt. Zhenwu, and the Annalum Courtyard in Worship's Rise in Ruins.

It’s really cruel of them to put a shrine in Honglan’s arena when that’s the only fight you’re teleported away from.
