How to Beat Monstrous Toddler Bai Kru
Summon He Youzai to Split Aggro
Once you enter the boss arena, summon He Youzai to split the aggro between you and him. Use the opportunity to land attacks while its focused on your companion. If it focuses on you instead, play defensively until it switches targets.
Inflict Frostbite to Deal Damage

 Obtained after defeating the Bo Sorcerer. |
Use spells that inflict Frostbite to deal an instant burst of damage. The Echo of the Bo Sorcerer is the most effective at applying Frostbite, but it costs five Skyborn Might to cast. You can also learn the Bone Needle - Frostbite Node in the Impetus Repository to imbue your weapon with Frostbite effects through Temperance.

| Double Lunge |
Bai Kru jumps and slams the ground upon landing. It performs this attack twice in a row, so be ready to dodge a second time. |
| Heavy Ground Slam |
Bai Kru jumps high up in the air and drops down, slaming the ground upon landing. Dodge to any directions before Bai Kru lands. |
| Backflip |
Bai Kru glances behind and does a backflip, damaging you if you're nearby. Dodge toward the direction its back is facing to close the distance. |
| Swift Strikes |
Bai Kru strikes its claws, up to four times, but it can cut the move midway and transition into a different move. Dodge forward to stay behind it and avoid getting hit. |
| Consecutive Ground Pounds |
Bai Kru performs a ground pound multiples times in quick succesion. Remain behind Bai Kru to avoid the damage and try to get some damage in. |
| Upward Torrent |
Bai Kru shoots out water upward. Dodge to the sides to avoid the attack. |
| Sideward Torrent |
Bai Kru shoots out a stream of water from its left to the right, then back to its left. Dodge opposite direction of the water's path to avoid getting hit, or if you're close enough, sprint behind Bai Kru to evade the attack and deal damage. |
| Rising Ground Slam |
Bai Kru slams the ground in a rage twice, knocking back anything near it. He then swipes upward then slams his fists on the ground before lunging in front of him. Stay clear of his front and attack from the side. |
| Lunging Grab |
Bai Kru lunges in front of him and grabs his target, eating it before throwing it away. Stay clear of his lunge when he rears his arms back. |
| Twirling Swift Strike |
Very similar to Swift Strikes, though at the end, Bai Kru does a twirling attack that launches him forward. He may also lunge again towards his target's direction, so be sure to dodge at the right time. |
| Monstrous Howl |
Bai Kru lets out an inhuman scream that slightly damages his target. He lets out this howl when he misses his target in the Lunging Grab, or when he reaches 50% of his health. |
| Air Pulse |
Bai Kru takes a big gulp of air before launching it as a projectile towards his target. Dodge to the side to avoid getting hit. |

Bai Kru sweeps his claws in a low arc in front of him, damaging his target. Dodge in any direction to evade it. |
| Whiplash Torrent |
Bai Kru lets out a howl, and has monstrous whips bursting from his guts that agitates the water around him, causing a whiplash to form all around the area. Stay clear of his front when he gets ready to roar and dodge behind him to avoid the damage. |

Located in the Rivulet
From the Bai Mansion shrine, proceed forward and follow the path to the left of the shrine until you enter a cave. Get to the end of the cave to reach the Rivulet, where Bai Kru is located.
