Lost Remains can be found in golden chests scattered around the world. Some golden chests are locked behind hidden areas or found nearby a special enemy. Here are all the Lost Remains locations found in each region:

At Lightzen Temple, pass through the structure behind the shrine, then turn to the building to the right. |

There is an altar at the base of the humoungous growth in Mercury Workshop. Use the scaffolding to climb down on the ladders and take the stairs down to get to there. |

Found inside the music hall guarded by Tang Palace Maid in the Tang Emperor Palace. |
Cloudspire Lost Remains

From the Snowy Passage shrine, head inside the gate leading to the Cloudspire Outskirts. Make your way to a shack up on a cliff towards the left. The shack will have a golden chest hiding inside. |

From the Shaft Entrance shrine, head past the bridge, then to the path to the left. Cut past the enemies in the area, head down the stairs, and you'll end up at a corridor dropping boulders. At the end of the corridor is a drop that leading to a golden chest locked behind bars. |
Mt. Zhenwu Lost Remains

From Battlefield Pass shrine, find the well of the village and head to the side where a pathway leads to a hidden cave filled ankle deep with blood. Turn to the exit that has the wooden railings, and the golden chest will be towards the left. |

From Avian Marsh shrine, Climb up the nearest ladders until the top, and turn towards the path to the left. Take the ladder once again, and follow the path in front of you. Turn to the right at the clearing, then climb down the ladder. At the bottom will be the golden chest. |
| Avian Marsh | From temple with the movable structures, find your way to the next building by finding the bridge nearby the lever with wooden supports. When you climb down the stairs, there is a ladder leading down to where the golden chest is. |
Worship's Rise in Ruins Lost Remains

| Burning Cavern | From Burning Cavern shrine, head up the path and past the fallen statue. Stick to your left as you cut through the large cavernous area, then cut past the fountain. The golden chest is just around the corner. |
Bo Capital Lost Remains

Beside the Panda in Bo Capital is a Mystery Gate glowing gold. Activate it and you'll be able to access the golden chest nearby the center, below some tendrils. |
How to Use Lost Remains
Used on Manna Potency Nodes in the Impetus Repository
Lost Remains is specifically for increasing your Manna Potency. This lets your Manna Vases increase its healing capacity on each use. Your Manna Vases replenishes at every rest at a shrine.
There are a total of 4 nodes available for Manna Capacity. Each node can be upgraded for 1 unit of Lost Remains, a total of 3 times per node. This means you'll need a total of 12 units of Lost Remains to fully upgrade your Manna Potency.
