As you progress through the game, you will eventually find Forgotten Remembrances which are upgrade items that can increase your total Manna Vase count. You can use this item at the Impetus Repository by slotting in the Manna Capacity node at the left side of the skill tree.

Keep in mind that each node can be upgraded 3 times and once you max it out, you will have to reach the next node in order to further upgrade your Manna Vase.

Use Lost Remains on Manna Potency Nodes

Use Forgotten Remembrances on Manna Capacity Nodes
Max Manna Vase Potency +10

Lost Remains are also valuable upgrade items that can increase the health recovered from your Manna Vases. Make sure to use this at the Impetus Repository by slotting in the Manna Potency node that can be found at the left side of the skill tree as well.

What is a Manna Vase?

The Manna Vase gradually heals a portion of your health on use and can be refilled once you Enter Dream at a Worship Shrine. Do note that this has a drinking animation that can prevent you from dodging in time so make sure you only use this when you are in a safe spot.

In order to use a Manna Vase, you first have to equip it on your quickslot. This can be done via the Equipment menu and slotting the item on one of your 4 quickslots at the bottom.

Once you have it equipped, you can just select the item on your hotbar and press Square for PlayStation, X for Xbox, or R for PC players to use it and heal yourself.
