The Spear and Axe weapon combination provides good synergy for executing various attack combos and dealing huge burst damage, while also being able to proc Obliterate efficiently between the two weapons.

One good example would be our Artillery Spear Build where you focus on using both Flame Strike and Draconic Bombard weapon skills as you execute Swift Draws to deal huge damage from a long range.

One-handed swords are widely known as the best weapons for spellcasters throughout the game. Pair this with a good Spear to perform melee combos for procing Obliterate once you have an opening, then seamlessly swap back to cast Spells from afar or reapply your buffs.

We recommend using the Spellblade Shortsword Build for the most optimal combination build for the One-handed Sword and Spear. The build makes use of magic while also gratifying close combat with the Steam Chain and Echo of Dhutanga.

Longswords are the most versatile weapon type throughout the game, able to adapt to any playstyle when paired with other weapons. When used with spears, you can achieve a fast weapon combination with flawless switching and Skyborn Might generation.

Using the Flame Whip build as a sample, this Longsword and Spear build can repeatedly chain Whip Dance and Steam Chain to burn enemies while also dealing heavy damage.
