You Cannot Upgrade Armor

Armor cannot be upgraded in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. You will have to constantly be looking for better armor that will fit your playstyle and reach your expectations in damage mitigation.

Invest in Stats to Boost Defense

Instead, you will have to invest in specific nodes in the Impetus Repository to alter and improve your stats. Endurance boosts your Stamina, while Vitality boosts your Health and Defense.

Endurance Endurance Increases your maximum Stamina. Attacking and dodging both require Stamina.
Vitatlity Vitality Increases your maximum Health and Defense.

You can get fang yao’s hand and leg piece also in the game. I got it by giving her the scarf, then refusing to help her in the shaft. I found her full set including her arm and leg pieces in a cell later on in that level
