This is a walkthrough for Chapter 5 in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Learn more about how to complete the Bo Capital, along with all secrets, missables, and bosses in this chapter.
Chapter 5 Complete Walkthrough
1. Capital Entrance
| Step | Objective |
|---|---|
| 1.1 |  Make your way forward and interact with the mechanism on the right to deactivate the Sanguine Sentinel shooting beams at you. Proceed to the newly formed walkway and then head straight to the path with the two huge flower-type enemies. Before making it past the area, turn right up a small flight of stairs to get a Radiant Red Feather. |
| 1.2 |  Continue forwards, then turn to the left. An enemy will open a path that you can take as a shortcut to avoid the fighting enemies on your right. Pass through the shortcut, then head on top of the stairs to deactivate the second Sanguine Sentinel and connect the path to your right. |
| 1.3 |  Make your way up until you reach a bridge with a Bamboozling to your right. Defeat the two huge enemies fighting to get a Radiant Red Feather, Red Mercury Essence, and a Blood of Wangdi. |
| 1.4 |  Go to the bridge in front of you, then turn right and step on the platform that will take you down to the Depths of the Capital. You can hop off the debris going down to get a Radiant Red Feather. At the bottom, turn right and fight your way past the Avian Hunter and the two fighting enemies, then turn left to unlock the Depths of the Capital Shrine. |
| 1.5 |  On your left you would see a Mystery Gate. We recommend choosing the Wheel turns anew to get access to the Demon of Obsession boss fight in addition to being able to combine the Samsara Ring pieces to get the best ending in the game. Note, however, that this will lock you out of the Sage Trophy, as you would purposely choose the wrong answer to the riddle. Also, make sure to fight Eternal Glory - Zhao Yun before answering this riddle. |

2. Depths of the Capital
| 2.1 |  From the Depths of the Capital Shrine, turn left to reach a plaza with a huge bird enemy. Defeat the enemy to stop him from firing lasers on you so that you can open the glowing chest behind him and get a Forgotten Remembrance. You can then activate the mechanism to open up two hidden paths in the area. |

| 2.2 |  The hidden path to the left will lead you to a Benediction Gate where you can acquire a Bamboo Shoot, Radiant Red Feathers, and the Wei - Blood Force. This will also open a shortcut back to the first shrine. Just past the Benediction Gate, you can obtain the Nameless Eye Pendant by using the Worship pose in front of a huge chalice. |
| 2.3 |  Return back to the plaza and go to the other platform near the mechanism that you previously activated. Make your way up, but be careful of the Sanguine Sentinel that will shoot you near the top. Proceed to the connecting hallway, then turn right and activate the mechanism in front of you. This will reveal a path leading to a hidden bridge where you can get the Bu - Combo Ward Benediction from a Benediction Gate and a Contaminated Crystal and Red Mercury Essence from a Mimic Shrine. |
| 2.4 |  Make your way back to the mechanism that revealed the hidden area and make a right turn instead. Near the Sanguine Sentinel, you will see a hill to your right. Proceed there and drop down the small bridge before reaching the praying enemies. This will lead you to the last mechanism that you need to activate to reach the Forbidden Lands. Cross the newly formed bridge, and you will see Panda beside another Benediction Gate. |
| 2.5 |  Here you can talk to the Storyteller to obtain the Golden Scepter Spell, as well as get a Radiant Red Feather and a Lost Remains nearby. After getting all the items, jump down to the Hurricane Circle to reach the lowest section of the Capital. |

3. Forbidden Lands
| 3.1 |  After going down the Hurricane Circle, and depending on your questline progress with He Youzai, you will see him beside a glowing point of interest. Use the platform beside him to proceed further down the capital. Then make your way to the right side, where two huge enemies are fighting. Defeat the winged enemy in the area, then enter the passage to the right, then proceed to the mechanism that will give you the Solbird Shard - Right. |

| 3.2 |  Make your way to the opposite side via the flight of stairs found on the left. Continue to make your way up until you reach the mechanism that will give you the Solbird Shard - Left. Before proceeding back to the center, drop down the ledge on the left, which will lead you to the last Benediction Gate of the game to obtain the Shi - Blood Ward Benediction and a Radiant Red Feather in the area. |
| 3.3 |  After obtaining both Solbird Shards, follow the beams of light, and they will take you to a huge altar where you can fuse both shards and open the path to the Forbidden Lands. Cross the bridge and proceed until you reach the Forbidden Lands Shrine. |
| 3.4 |  Obtain the Damaged Token near the gate leading to Feathery Ambition - Xuanyangzi. Defeat the game's last boss to unlock the Gate of Truth Shrine. The final step is to interact with the Gate of Truth. Note that interacting with the gate will reveal your ending and will force you into New Game+. Make sure that you have done everything in your playthrough before moving to the next one. ▶ All Endings Guide |
