Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, much like other soulslike games, does not have any difficulty options when you dive into it. The game becomes more difficult as enemy health and damage increase when you reach new areas and regions. You are also introduced to stronger and faster bosses in the long run.
If you're having difficulty in progression or defeating certain enemies, know that you're not alone! Soulslike games are hard in general, so expect some struggle throughout your playthrough. On the other hand, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers does have difficulty scaling as you enter into New Game+. This can be seen on your save file at the main menu as Causality Reversal where the number increases once you start New Game Plus.
Do note that New Game Plus offers upgraded Pendants and increased enemy damage and health so make sure you are well prepared before starting one.
New Game Plus Changes and What Carries Over
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers does not have any difficulty settings that you can adjust to fit your preferences. As mentioned, the game is designed to have a linear progression with a difficulty curve that increases as you progress, similiar to Sekiro and Bloodborne.
