Enemy weaknesses are rated from 1 to 3, with 3 being extremely effective. An X mark means the enemy is immune against the status effect.

Note that these suggestions are based solely on the boss armor. We will manually test the different damage types as our team progress through the game.
While Dhutanga has high mitigation against all weapon damage types, Blunt damage is the recommended one to use, since it has a lower mitigation value than Slashes and Stabs.
The Entwinded Legend Pendant increases your Burn resistance, helping you lessen the buildup of Dhutanga's attacks when he coats his spear with flames. The pendant can be found on the road beside Lightzen Temple near a statue guarded by two enemies with a staff.
How to Get the Entwined Legend Pendant

There are a total of six enemies you can fight, located to the right of the Lightzen Temple Shrine. Defeat the four around the campfire first, which you can easily take them out by throwing a Fire Pot at the explosive vases nearby. Then, proceed to the wrecked house on the right, where two enemies will drop from the ceiling once you enter.
You can increase your stats by unlocking the stat nodes in the Impetus Repository, or weapon-specific nodes for more passives, but these require Mercury Essence, obtained by exchanging Red Mercury.

The Cloudfrost Edge is a One-Handed Sword that can be picked up near the four enemies by the campfire. It has the Evasive Maneuver skill, which let's you evade enemy attacks for a short time when activated with Skyborn Might.
Cloudfrost's Edge Stats and How to Get
Upgrade your Manna Vase nodes, located on the left side of the Impetus Repository, to increase its number of charges and enhancing its potency. The charge upgrades require Forgotten Remembrance and health recovery upgrades require Lost Remains.

|---|---|
| Leap Attack |
Dhutanga builds momentum and leaps, slamming onto the ground upon landing. Dodge forward to get behind and do a heavy attack. It's usually followed by another attack. |
| Forward Charge |
Dhutanga plants his spear on the ground in front of him and charges toward you. The damage is dealt when he lifts his spear from the ground, so wait for a bit before dodging as he reaches you. |
| Downward Strike |
Dhutanga raises his spear above him and delivers a downward strike. Dodge to the sides to avoid the attack. This is usually the follow up to most of his moves, where final attack positions his spear above him. |
| Ground Smash |
Dhutanga spins his spear overhead and smashes it into the ground. Dodge to either sides and aim to get behind him to deliver a heavy attack. |
| Ground Stomp |
Dhutanga holds his spear at his side, similar to the start of his leap attack, then raises his leg and stomps the ground, dealing damage in an area around him. Move away from Dhutanga to avoid getting hit, or dodge just before his foot touches the ground. |
| Spear Burrow |
Dhutanga plants his spear in the ground and kicks it to unburrow it. Both the planting and unburrowing deal damage. Once he plants his spear, dodge forward to get behind him and execute a heavy attack. |
| Spear Combo |
Dhutanga performs a three-hit combo, consisting of an overhead slash, a sideway slash, and a stab at the end. These are all easily dodgeable, as the timing between his attacks matches the timing between your dodges. |
Dhutanga coats his spear with flames when he's at around 50% HP, but the rest of his attacks stay the same from when he's at full HP. Only his Fireworks move is added.
| Moves | Details |
|---|---|
| Fireworks |
Dhutanga coats himself in a red cloud, then breathes fire onto a ball, breathes fire in your direction, and finally throws the fiery ball into the air and hits it, causing an explosion that deals damage to a wide area. Once Dhutanga's red smoke clears, you can get behind him and deal damage, since he's stationary for the entire duration of the move. Just be careful when he breathes fire at you and when he strikes the fiery ball. |
From the Lightzen Temple shrine, enter the courtyard then pass through the zombie-like enemies. Go to the back of the rundown building and open the gate to reach the boss area.
