A Tier Spears Spears Longswords Longswords
B Tier One-Handed Swords One-Handed Swords

The best weapon types are the Dual Blades and Axes as they are the most capable of sustaining yourself during combat. Dual Blades can continuously attack and clash while recovering health at the same time, whereas Axes deal huge, staggering damage with various AoE capabilities.

On the other hand, Spears deal great damage once you learn the counter timings while Longswords are the most balanced weapon in the game, which is great for new players.

Lastly, One-handed Swords focus on casting Spells with a fair amount of evasive and defensive capabilities that can take a while to learn, especially against fast Bosses that tend to get up close and personal.

Tier List Criteria

S Tier Weapons that can deal the highest damage and sustain themselves without relying on specific items and armors.
A Tier Weapons that can be on par with S-tier ones once they have the right nodes and items to enable their builds.
B Tier Low-tier weapons that can shine if paired with powerful skills and spells that you can get from the later parts of the game.
