Twin Bandits
|
Block Block Swing both blades while retreating to block the enemy's move. Block at the perfect moment to Deflect the attack instead. After Deflecting, subsequent attacks become increasingly faster. Succesful hits heal the user on hit.
|
Blademaster Blademaster Use with Skyborn Might to gain Bladeborn buff. Performing a successful Clash during Bladeborn restores some health.
Bladeborn - Makes your Dual Blades light attacks even swifter. |
The build will use Twin Bandits for its Block skill, which is extremely useful for late-game bosses that use weapons. Perfectly executing block grants Skyborn Might for using Blademaster and Crimson Edge Incantation.

Wei - Tri-Disciplinary Force
|
Wei - Six-Disciplinary Force
|
Wei - Nine-Disciplinary Force
|
To maximize your damage, you'll want to complete the Disciplinary Force set, as it grants exceptional flat damage compared to other benedictions.

Firearm Blades | Perfect Aim Perfect Aim A powerful shot that makes all but the largest of foes flinch, granting you the opportunity for easy follow-up attacks. Requires sufficient Skyborn Might to use. | |

| Firearm Blades | ||
Bu - Skyborn Ward | Sheng - Backstab Rejuvenation | Wei - Counter Force |
For the early build, it's important to slot in Blocking Clash to increase the potency of your deflects and clashes on Twin Bandits. Use Combo Force to increase your overall damage when using combos, and use Skyborn Vigor to increase your defenses.
Your Firearm Blades as a backup weapon would not need much focus, so it's best to use Skyborn Ward for extra defense, Backstab Rejuvenation for healing, and Counter Force to synergize with the clashes.

Prioritize nodes that grant Clash and Skyborn Might, as the build heavily relies on them for damage. Afterwards, you'll need to heavily invest in Endurance Nodes on your way to Blademaster to set your survivability. Then, just take stat nodes to increase the damage scaling of your Dual Blades.
After completing the Dual Blades and Utility path, start taking Agility and Discipline Nodes from the Shortsword and Longsword trees to complete the bonus from the Disciplinary Force set.
| Head | Chest |

South General's Helmet

Ming Armor

| Gloves | Pants |
South General's Vambraces
|
South General's Boots
|
As the build will mostly be upfront against attacks to initiate clashes, it's best to equip armor with high physical resistance. You can also opt for armor that has high tenacity, so your attacks are not easily interrupted.
| Head | Chest |
|---|---|
Embroidered Headband | Junior Maid's Garment |
| Gloves | Pants |
Bridal Shackles | Bridal Dress |
The use of Light Armor for the early game build mainly focuses on resistances, as the build is mostly used in ranged combat. Although the armor for this build is entirely swappable, depending on your needs or the boss encounter.
The Embroidered Headband, Junior Maid's Garment, along with the Bridal Shackles and Dress, provide high resistance to non-physical damage, giving you more defense against spells cast on you.
| Pendants | ||
|---|---|---|
Dragonling Pendant
|
Tiger Pendant
|
Eagle Pendant
|
The Dragonling, Tiger, and Eagle Pendants will be a source of damage boost for all your attacks. If you need to swap any of these pendants, it's best to swap the Eagle Pendant since stabs are not too commonly used in Dual Blades.
Keep in mind that you'll have to spec into more stamina for your Impetus to stay on the offensive.
| Pendants | ||
|---|---|---|
Dragonling Pendant | Twin Infant Pendant | Eagle Pendant |
The Dragonling Pendant and the Eagle Pendant will be a source of damage boost for all your attacks. If you need to swap any of these two pendants, it's best to swap the Eagle Pendant since stabs are not too commonly used in Dual Blades.
Finally, the Twin Infant Pendant is a must, as you need to keep on attacking to deal damage and survive with the Leech Bone Needle.
| Acupoints | Effect |
|---|---|
Bone Needle - Leech
|
Used via tempering to endow your weapon with the ability to leech health from enemies. |
Shadow Stone Needle - Strength
|
Taps into your acupoint to slightly increase the Strength Control of the weapon you're wielding. |
Everlight Stone Needle - Continuity
|
Stimulate your meridians to increase the duration of Tempering. |
Shadow Stone Needle - Agility
|
Taps into your acupoint to slightly increase the Agility Control of the weapon you're wielding. |
The Leech bone needle is the best to use for the build as it allows you to heal while hitting and initiating clashes with the Dual Blades. It is also ideal to use Leech with Dual Blades as you land more hits due to its faster attack speed.
For your Acupoints, it's best to take the Agility and Strength needles for your weapon scaling. Make sure to equip the Continuity needle to prolong your leech buff.
| Spell | Uses |
|---|---|
Crimson Edge Incantation
|
Primarily used for healing from afar while also dealing damage. |
Manna Vase
|
Temperance
|
Crimson Lantern Fruit
|
Soft Rush Flowers
|
The Mana Vase, along with your Temperance (Leech), is your main sources of healing. To support your Leech Temperance, we recommend equipping Crimson Lantern Fruits and Soft Rush Flowers to increase your stamina recovery.
This loadout will allow you to keep on attacking while maintaining your health. You'll be able to power through most boss attacks while also disregarding some damage due to the clashes.
