How to Fight Eternal Glory Zhao Yun
Progress the White-Robed Elder's Questline
Meet the White-Robed Elder in the cave before reaching Battlefield Pass. Then, visit the Refugee Camp and agree to help him so he can support you during the Bo Sorcerer fight. Next, speak to him in the Tomb near Avian Marsh to obtain the Tigraliz Pendant. Once you’ve unlocked access to Bo Capital in Chapter 5, return to the Tomb, where you'll face him as a boss.

These are our recommended builds we used to defeat Zhao Yun. The Stagger Longsword Build and the Clash Dual Blades Build work extremely well against him, since he wields a weapon and most of his attacks can be deflected or clashed.
Wear Armor With High Slash and Stab Mitigation
Zhao Yun uses his spear and sword for most attacks, except for when he jumps and slams the ground upon landing. Equipping armor with Slash and Stab mitigation, such as the Ming Armor set and the Centipede Armor set, will reduce the damage you take, helping you survive longer.
Use Clash and Deflects Against Zhao Yun
It is recommended to deflect or clash against Zhao Yun's spear attacks. Clashing your weapons with his will reduce the damage you receive while allowing you to continue your attack combo, gradually breaking his Poise and opening him up for Obliterate Strikes.

Avoid attacking continuously, as Zhao Yun might enter his Aerial Bulwark stance, parrying your attack and launching a counterattack that can deplete nearly a quarter of your HP.

Zhao Yun rushes toward you with his spear thrusted forward, where he attacks upon reaching you. Wait for a moment before Zhao Yun reaches you and dodge forward. |

Zhao Yun enters a stance, holding his spear with both hands and putting it behind him. During this stance, he can parry your attacks and launch a counterattack. |
| Side Stab |
Zhao Yun executes a quick sword thrust with his back facing you. It's best to clash or deflect it, so you'll have a dodge ready for the next attack. |
| Swift Charge |
Zhao Yun momentarily floats in the air before suddenly rushes toward you, almost as if teleporting to your location. |
| Flame Jump |
Zhao Yun jump into the air, unleashing fire projectiles, and deals damage upon landing. Dodge away to avoid the fire projectiles, then dodge a second time to avoid Zhao Yun's landing. |
| Ground Slam |
Zhao Yun slams his spear into the ground at your location. Dodge forwardm slightly to the side to get behind him, then follow up with a heavy attack. |
| Spear Cyclone |
Zhao Yun spins his spear around multiple times, finishing with an upward strike. This is best clashed or deflected, but a well-timed dodge can work too. If you choose to dodge, dodge to the side during the spins, then dodge forward just before the upward strike to get behind him. |
| Spear Combo |
Zhao Yun executes a fast combo with hiis spear, giving oyu little room to react. It's best to clash or deflect this move, since dodging may leave you vulnerable to the next quick strike in the combo. |

Zhao Yun charges his sword with light, dealing damage in an area around him. He then swings his sword in a wide arc, striking a large area. Dodge backward when he begins charging, then dogdge forward as he swings to avoid the attack. |

Zhao Yun unleashes a flurry of wind slashes from his sword in quick succession. It's best to dodge to the side to avoid the wind slashes entirely. |

From the Avian Dwelling shrine, head northwest along the path and cross the tree you knocked down from exploring the area. Head left after you pass by two scared humans, then turn right and cross the bridge with overgrown roots. Zhao Yun will be up ahead.

What gets me on this boss is at around 30% he just starts consistently spamming clones and combining. 3-4 clones in a row, while I'm avoiding, jumps at me and starts to combo. Rinse and repeat 5-6 times until mess up. so quite literally all I can do is dodge all the time untill I mess up and have to restart the fight.
