The build will use the Empyrean Greataxe and the Empyrean Crash for closing the gap between enemies while also dealing damage. Li Jiao's Fang serves as a secondary weapon used for Swift Draws to apply Burn with Draconic Bombard.

You can replace Li Jiao's Fang with the Scorn Greataxe for a more melee focused playtstyle. Block will be used for both weapons as a means to gain Skyborn Might faster.

The Disciplinary Force set is on the Empyrean Greataxe as it will be the main weapon of the build, allowing it to deal high damage as it aims to gain Skyborn Might. While the Benedictions set on Li Jiao's Fang aim to increase the damage of Draconic Bombard and allow it to apply Burn to enemies instantly.

If you're using Scorn Greataxe instead of Li Jiao's Fang, simply replace Area Damage with Burning Might for a more optimized setup.

You'll want to start taking nodes in the Utility path until energetic. Make sure to take the Leech bone needle for temperance. Afterwards, progress the Axe Tree to get strength nodes as well as Discipline skills. Take Skyborn Call III as well as Temperance and Manna Vase upgrades, then complete the axe tree.

Once you've completed the axe tree, go to the spear tree to get strength nodes on your way to Solar Leap. Then, go to the longsword tree to take Crescent Moon and Sword Counter and finalize the build by taking the strength nodes.

The build greatly benefits from armor that grants high Tenacity. This allows you to keep attacking without being interrupted, making it easier to generate Skyborn Might.

The Peace and Tiger Pendants will be a source of damage boost for all your attacks. The Twin Infant pendant allows you to recover stamina faster, lessening the time interval for each combo.

Temperance and Acupoints

Bone Needle - LeechBone Needle - Leech Used via tempering to endow your weapon with the ability to leech health from enemies.
Shadow Stone Needle - StrengthShadow Stone Needle - Strength Taps into your acupoint to slightly increase the Strength Control of the weapon you're wielding.
Everlight Stone Needle - ContinuityEverlight Stone Needle - Continuity Stimulate your meridians to increase the duration of Tempering.
Shadow Stone Needle - AgilityShadow Stone Needle - Agility Taps into your acupoint to slightly increase the Agility Control of the weapon you're wielding.

The Leech bone needle is the best to use for the build as it allows you to heal while attacking with the Empyrean Greataxe. For your Acupoints, it's best to take the Agility and Strength needles for your weapon scaling. Ensure you equip the Continuity needle to prolong your leech buff.

You can also use Fire Temperance to increase your Burn buildup.

The Mana Vase, along with your Temperance (Leech), is your main sources of healing. Maddening Incense is best used to speed up your Temperance application. Plumed Branch is best used during boss fights as it allows you to immediately chain weapon skills.

Playstyle Tips

Encounter Rotation

  1. Use block and follow it up with 2 attacks to gain 3 Skyborn Might from the second hit.
  2. Cast Empyrean Crash and use two follow-up attacks to gain 3 Skyborn Might.
  3. Use Swift Draw to cast Draconic Bombardment from Li Jiao's fang.
