How to Cross Zhenwu Temple Hidden Bridge

Follow the Divination Crescents

From the first Divination Crescent in front of the wooden ramp connected to the hidden bridge, go towards the two notes and follow the S-shaped path. Make sure to pick up the blue item at the end before proceeding to the Benediction Gate.

Zhenwu Temple Objectives

5. Travel to the Zhenwu Altar

1. Pass Through the Main Rebel Camp

1.1
Demon Manifest Zhenwu Temple
Make your way to the open area overlooking a temple beside the Refugee Camp. Defeat the red-eyed Avian enemy to get a Brilliant Red Feather and a Red Mercury Essence. Then proceed to the far end section of the area to manifest an Inner Demon that will reward you with a Bo Blood and the Plumed Stone Needle - Temper. Make sure to open the small chest nearby containing the Fa - Combo Lightning Benediction as well.

Buglio Main Rebel Camp
After defeating the notable enemies, take the ladder going down to the Main Rebel Camp. You can choose to go left first to meet Buglio, get the Leech Headwear and another Red Mercury Essence, and unlock a shortcut going back to the Refugee Camp and the Bo Sorcerer boss room.

Thunder Pendant Location
Once you have unlocked the shortcut, make your way back to the Main Rebel Camp, then head to the right. Defeat the rebels you encounter while avoiding the landmines hidden in the ground. Do not forget to go inside the largest tent in the camp to get the Thunder Pendant.

Zhenwu Temple Path
Pass through the broken wall, then turn left. Dodge the shrapnel hurling at you and defeat the enemies behind the cannon to get inside the Zhenwu Temple.

Zhenwu Antechamber Shrine
Once you are inside the temple, eliminate the guards standing in front of the entrance, then immediately climb up the flight of stairs to activate the Zhenwu Antechamber Shrine. If you progressed Li Dingo's questline, you can talk to him here and give him the Secret Letter to secure his good ending.

Zhenwu Temple Wooden Bridge
After unlocking the shrine, proceed to the hall on the left, and make your way up to the rooftop. Once you are on top, cross the wooden bridge to get to the opposite hall.

Zhenwu Temple Shortcut Ladder
Make your way down to the opposite hall, defeating enemies along the way, such as the Mimic Vase on the second floor. Then release the ladder leading back to the first shrine to create a shortcut before climbing up the ladder beside it. On the other side of the hall's rooftop, you would see a path that will take you to the left side of the temple.

2. Proceed to the Left Side of the Temple

2.1
Zhenwu Temple Left Side
Pass through the wooden bridge connected through the broken hall. Attack the Bamboozling near the entrance, while being careful of the cannons that will fire at you.
2.2
Zhenwu Temple Bamboo Shoot
In this plaza, the enemies are close to each other and can overwhelm you if you decide to just charge in. The best way to get through here is to first deal with the Ming guard standing on the platform. Then prepare to battle the four Lotus Sorcerers consecutively, starting with those that are closest to the bonfire. You can take on the one on top of the stairs last, as he will be the last one to react as long as you do not get too close. Once you have eliminated the sorcerers, pick up one of the best spells in the game, Ethereal Form, on one of the corpses in the area.
2.3
Zhenwu Temple Face Changer
Once you have cleared the plaza, proceed to the left, where you will encounter a Face-Changer. Defeat the enemy to get access to the Brilliant Red Feather on the floor and to climb up to the next area.
2.4
Zhenwu Temple Tome of Silver-Seeking
After reaching the top of the ladder, proceed inside and make your way down until you reach a wooden bridge that will take you to the connecting hall. In this area, pass through the hallway with Spike Traps to get the Tome of Silver-Seeking, which you can give to Wu Gang to unlock items in his shop. After getting this valuable, make your way on top of the hall via the stairs found inside. Defeat the enemies on the top floor, then head to the next hall to defeat a Face-Changer guarding the glowing chest containing a Forgotten Remembrance.

Zhenwu Temple Door
Proceed to the first floor of the hall and open the door to create a shortcut to the previous plaza. After unlocking the shortcut, go back to the previous floor and continue to climb your way up. On the top floor, you will see a connecting bridge to the temple's main hall.
2.6
Zhenwu Temple Bridge Mechanism
Interact with the mechanism in the main hall to cross to the other side. After crossing through the middle of the hall, go down until you reach an area with numerous vases. Smash the vases to reveal a Mimic Vase that will give you a Brilliant Red Feather; however, be careful of the Poisonous Jar mixed in.
2.7
Zhenwu Temple Worship Pose
Release the ladder that will take you down the main hall and defeat the red-eyed Ming guard nearby to get a Radiant Red Feather and a Red Mercury Essence. Use the Worship pose on the glowing point of interest to get two Zhenwu Temple Elixirs.
2.8
Zhenwu Temple Shortcuts
Go outside the main hall and unlock a shortcut back to the Zhenwu Antechamber Shrine and the locked door on the previous plaza. Be careful of the Avian enemy that will swoop down to attack you.

3. Proceed to the Right Side of the Temple

3.1
Antechamber Roof Path
Go to the side of the antechamber and climb up the ladder to reach the rooftop, where you can drop down to get the Demon Pendant sitting on top of the statue in the middle of the room.
3.2
Ming Archer
Defeat the enemies outside, including the Ming archer, to get the Brilliant Red Feather nearby.
3.3
Liu Wenxiu Location
Proceed to the far right section of the area, through the door leading to the South General - Liu Wenxiu. Drop the nearby ladder to before the door to create a shortcut to the Refugee Camp shrine.

Defeat the General to obtain the South General's armor set, Thunder's Call, and the Secret Missive.
3.4
Refugee Camp Shortcut
Make your way through the quarters behind the boss area and climb up the scaffoldings to unlock one of the doors leading back to the Refugee Camp.
3.5
Refugee Camp Drop Down
After unlocking the shortcut to the camp, proceed to the connecting hall and defeat the Lotus Sorcerers to clear the area. Once defeated, you can go down the stairs nearby and drop down to get a Brilliant Red Feather and the Cloudpiercer Spear.
3.6
Zhenwu Temple Avian Enemy
Return to the previous floor and continue climbing up the stairs and the ladder after. This will take you to a rooftop where an Avian enemy is waiting for an ambush. Defeat the enemy to make your way back to the main hall.
3.7
Zhenwu Temple Radiant Red Feather
Interact with the mechanism to get to the left side of the main hall. Drop down the edge and get the Radiant Red Feather. Make your way to another level to cross the opposite side of the hall.
3.8
Zhenwu Temple Staircase
Once you are on the other side, proceed upwards. Do not go down the stairs on the left, as you will fall to your death. Pull the lever once more on the top floor to get through the right side of the hall, where you can activate the elevator as a shortcut back to the Zhenwu Antechamber Shrine.

Tip: You can use the elevator to hop onto the small ledges in the main hall. You can get a Radiant Red Feather on the ledge near the bottom.
3.9
Zhenwu Temple Invisible Bridge Path
Traverse through the hidden bridge marked by Divination Crescents. This will take you to a Benediction Gate where you can obtain the Shan - Blight Ward and a Forgotten Remembrance.

4. Reach the Pavillion of Knowledge

4.1
Return to the area before crossing the hidden bridge and head to the purple mechanism. Destroy the crates to reveal a ladder going down, then cross the path of spikes to find a wooden bridge guarded by a Face-Changer. The Wei - Lightning Force benediction will be in a small chest behind the Face-Changer.
4.2
Zhenwu Temple Lost Remains
Cross the wooden bridge near the Elevator to find a hall with a Face-Changer. Take the stairs leading down to a lbrary and use the ladder to reach the Lost Remains.
4.3
Zhenwu Temple Beams
Climb up to the rooftop and defeat the Lotus Sorcerers circling around. Take the connecting bridge back to the main hall, where you would have to cross through the ceiling beams. In this area, you will inevitably be exposed to the Despair aura unless you can attack at long range, so make sure to equip armor with high Despair resistance and prepare Mind Lotus Seeds in your quickslot.
4.3
Pavilion of Knowledge Shrine
After passing through the area, you will reach the Pavilion of Knowledge Shrine. Prepare for a fight, as this is a Mimic Shrine waiting to attack. Defeat the enemy to unlock the new checkpoint.
4.4
Pavilion of Knowledge Storyteller
Once you have unlocked the shrine, proceed to the second floor of the pavilion, where you can speak with the Storyteller. He will tell you a tale about the famous White General. After the conversation, circle around the top floor to get the Zhenwu Temple Scriptures and the Cinder Dragoncoil Axe.
4.5
Pavilion of Knowledge Storyteller
Once you have unlocked the shrine, proceed to the second floor of the pavilion, where you can speak with the Storyteller. He will tell you a tale about the famous White General. After the conversation, circle around the top floor to get the Zhenwu Temple Scriptures and the Cinder Dragoncoil Axe.

5. Travel to the Zhenwu Altar

5.1
Pavilion of Knowledge Plain Warrioress
Exit the pavilion through the wooden bridge on the second floor. On the connected rooftop, use the ladder going down to reach the area just before the Zhenwu Altar. Here you will meet the Plain Warrioress looking at a distance.
5.2
Refugee Camp Shortcut 2
After speaking with the warrioress, proceed down the last area. Defeat the enemies inside the small room at the bottom to get access to the blocked area in the temple quarters. This will allow you to open the last shortcut leading to the Refugee Camp.
5.3
Pavilion of Knowledge Radiant Red Feather
After unlocking the last shortcut, go back and drop down the bridge by the roof at the end to pick up a Radiant Red Feather.
5.4
Altar Gate Shrine
Continue up the scaffolding and defeat the last set of enemies to unlock the Altar Gate Shrine. Use the shrine to rest and speak with Buglio, who is nearby, to get Buglio's Token before facing the last boss of the temple.

In step 4.3, it might be nice to mention that you're running into a gun and melee ambush as you cross the roof beams.
