Allay Drops and Rarity

Allays do not drop any items or blocks unless provided by its owner. When an Allay dies, any item it was holding beforehand will be dropped.

Allays can only be found inside Pillager Outposts and Woodland Mansions. They cannot be spawned by means of taming and breeding.

Allay with Player

Allays have one inventory slot that can be used by the player. When given an item to an Allay, it will search its nearby surroundings for the same item and return to the player with what it has gathered.

Should an Allay hold an item to search for, but does not detect the item within its range, it will just fly around aimlessly near the player.
