In addition to the weekly bug fixes, Java Snapshot 1.19 Pre-Release 2 (1.19 pre-2) for Minecraft introduces a few new Mob behaviors as one of the many features being tested as part of the Java Snapshot 1.19 cycle. Read about the different changes, updates, and fixed bugs in Minecraft 1.19 Pre-Release 2!
Gameplay Changes in Java Snapshot 1.19 Pre-Release 2
・If the Warden is stuck in a liquid, it will angrily despawn instead of digging
・Reverted using generic equip sound when equipping blocks in the head slot
When a Warden is stuck in a liquid block, it will angrily despawn instead of the usual "burrowing" animation it does when despawning on a solid block.

In Java Snapshot 1.19 Pre-Release 1, it is stated that equipping any non-armor items in your headwear slot (like pumpkins or skulls) will cause a generic equip sound to play. However, in the Pre-Release 2 notes, this change will no longer be added in the live patch.
With Version 1.19 Pre-Release 2 being part of the 1.19 cycle, players can expect these changes in the next live patch. However, keep in mind that not all gameplay features added in snapshots will automatically arrive in the next patch. These features are subject to change or further development.
