Terracotta can be found naturally spawning as part of certain structures, or as the main terrain in Badlands. Use a Pickaxe to mine Terracotta.
Source | Location |
---|---|
Plains Villages | As the building blocks of some houses. |
Desert Villages | In the floor patterns. Glazed Terracotta may also be found as Decorative Pieces. |
Badlands Biome | Natural Terrain |
Alternatively Terracotta may also be obtained by smelting Clay Blocks in a Furnace. The resulting Clay Blocks will be the base variant without any colorations.
The Cyan Terracotta looks more gray than bright blue.
Regular Terracotta can then be dyed to any of the different colors available. Keep in mind that their colorations are not as vibrant as other dyed items due to their earthy texture.
If you're looking for something more vibrant, Glazed Terracotta offer very striking designs. Get Glazed Terracotta by Smelting Dyed Terracotta.
