How to Get Power

Obtain using Enchanting Tables

The most common way to obtain Power is through an Enchanting Table. You'll need XP and Lapis Lazuli to enchant an item.

Use Bookshelves to increase enchantment levels

Placing bookshelves around the Enchanting Table will increase the possible enchantment levels of an item. There must be one block of air between a bookshelf and the Enchanting Table for this to work.

Obtain by Fishing

Fishing - Minecraft
Head out into open water and use your Fishing Rod to catch items with Power enchantments. The Luck of the Sea enchant will increase your chances of catching enchanted items.

Loot from Chests

You'll find Power in Treasure Chests in structures and dungeons around the world. Make sure you're properly equipped with armor and weapons since these areas will be infested with Mobs.

Trade with Villagers

You'll be able to trade items with villagers to obtain Power. Librarians will be your best bet since you can trade Emeralds for enchantments even at Novice levels.

You'll have to level up other Villager types to obtain their enchanted stock.

Power - Minecraft Enchantment

Power V lets you kill certain mobs with one hit

Power Enchantment Level No Charge Damage Medium Charge Damage Full Charge Damage
I 2 (1 Heart) 8 (4 Hearts) 9 (4.5 Hearts)
II 2 (1 Heart) 9 (4.5 Hearts) 11 (5.5 Hearts)
III 2 (1 Heart) 10 (5 Hearts) 12 (6 Hearts)
IV 3 (1.5 Hearts) 12 (6 Hearts) 14 (7 Hearts)
V 3 (1.5 Hearts) 13 (6.5 Hearts) 15 (7.5 Hearts)

The Power enchantment is vital to maximizing your bow's strength. Prioritize adding this to your bow as soon as possible to more easily deal with enemies. This increased damage is particularly helpful against flying mobs, such as the Ender Dragon, since they're harder to reach with melee weapons.
