How to Get Soul Speed

Soul Speed cannot be found in any Overworld chests. They can only be looted from chests in Bastion Remnants. Make sure you equip any piece of Gold armor so that Piglins don't attack you.

Barter with Piglins

You can obtain Soul Speed by bartering with Piglins. This is done by using a Gold Ingot on a Piglin or tossing one near it. Once it takes the gold, you'll have to wait a few seconds before it tosses a random item at you. You may have to do this several times.

Dropped by Killing Piglins

Another way to obtain Soul Speed from Piglins is by killing those that are equipped with Golden Boots. They will sometimes drop Golden Boots that are already enchanted with Soul Speed.

How to Use Soul Speed

Travel Across the Nether Quicker

Soul Speed greatly increases your movement speed when you walk on Soul Sand or Soul Soil. This is great for quickly traveling through the Nether or for setting up fast walkways in the Overworld.

The durability of Soul Speed boots has a chance of going down for every Soul Sand or Soul Soil block stepped on. You can use the Unbreaking Enchantment to reduce the chance of this occurring.
