How to Get Curse of Binding

You Cannot use Enchanting Tables

Curse of Binding is a Treasure Enchantment, meaning it cannot be crafted using Enchanting Tables. You'll have to use different methods to obtain it.

Obtain by Fishing

Head out into open water and use your Fishing Rod to catch items with Curse of Binding enchantments. The Luck of the Sea enchant will increase your chances of catching enchanted items.

Loot from Chests

You'll find Curse of Binding in Treasure Chests in structures and dungeons around the world. Make sure you're properly equipped with armor and weapons since these areas will be infested with Mobs.

Trade with Villagers

You'll be able to trade items with villagers to obtain Curse of Binding. Librarians will be your best bet since you can trade Emeralds for enchantments even at Novice levels.

You'll have to level up other Villager types to obtain their enchanted stock.

How to Use Curse of Binding

Curse can Only be Removed by Dying or the Item Breaking

There is no way to remove the Curse of Binding except by dying or by letting the armor piece break. If you want to save the item, die near your spawnpoint so that it'll be easy to pick back up. Keep in mind the Curse will remain with armor piece even after you die.

This also means there's no way to remove this in Hardcore mode, so make sure you don't accidentally equip an item with this Curse.
