Licensing | Minecraft: Education Edition
Educators can use Minecraft to teach students different topics. There are currently 10 Lessons to chose from and can increase with future updates! Microsoft also offers courses for teachers to be a Minecraft Certified Teacher.
Parents can utilize use Minecraft as part of a game-based learning curriculum for their children. Creativity, problem solving, and system thinking are some of the skills students can learn.

With the Camps and Clubs update, Minecraft: Education Edition can be used by various after-school programs, nonprofits, and other organizations!
Lessons have subject kits, curriculum sets, and individual lessons under different subjects. More Lessons can be introduced in the future and anytime a new Lesson is added, you can find it at the bottom of the list. There are currently 10 Lessons that make the lineup:
Monthly Build Challenges are activities that can easily be launched by the educator. The activities included are meant for students to start building and collaborating with each other. New Build Challenges are added in every month and can be located at the beginning of the list.
In this section, students can build upon the preexisting worlds available. From the basic Blocks of Grass world to deep underwater in the Ocean Biome. This is a great place to teach students about the destructive effects of human impact in nature.
This section has different worlds designed to teach anyone without experience with Minecraft the basic mechanics on how to get around and interact with the world.
