How to Get Fire Aspect

Obtain using Enchanting Tables

The most common way to obtain Fire Aspect is through an Enchanting Table. You'll need XP and Lapis Lazuli to enchant an item.

Use Bookshelves to increase enchantment levels

Placing bookshelves around the Enchanting Table will increase the possible enchantment levels of an item. There must be one block of air between a bookshelf and the Enchanting Table for this to work.

Obtain by Fishing

Fishing - Minecraft
Head out into open water and use your Fishing Rod to catch items with Fire Aspect enchantments. The Luck of the Sea enchant will increase your chances of catching enchanted items.

Loot from Chests

You'll find Fire Aspect in Treasure Chests in structures and dungeons around the world. Make sure you're properly equipped with armor and weapons since these areas will be infested with Mobs.

Trade with Villagers

You'll be able to trade items with villagers to obtain Fire Aspect. Librarians will be your best bet since you can trade Emeralds for enchantments even at Novice levels.

You'll have to level up other Villager types to obtain their enchanted stock.

How to Use Fire Aspect

Deal Fire Damage to Enemies

Fire Aspect - Minecraft Enchantment

Fire Aspect Enchantment Level Fire Damage Dealt
I 3 (1.5 Hearts)
II 7 (3.5 Hearts)

With Fire Aspect, enemies hit by your sword are set on fire and take damage for a few seconds. This is a good additional source of damage, and makes fighting multiple enemies easier.

Easy Way to Gather Cooked Food

This is also great for gathering food, since Fire Aspect causes animals such as Cows or Pigs to drop cooked food. This removes the need to use a furnace, making it particularly useful for long journeys where you don't have access to one.

No Effect on Fire-Immune Enemies

This will not work on fire-immune mobs. This includes Zoglins, Wardens, Withers, the Ender Dragon, and Nether mobs aside from Piglins and Hoglins.
