How to Get the Infinity Enchantment

How to Get Infinity
Obtain using Enchanting Tables
EnlargeThe most common way to obtain Infinity is through an Enchanting Table. You'll need XP and Lapis Lazuli to enchant an item.
Use Bookshelves to increase enchantment levels
EnlargePlacing bookshelves around the Enchanting Table will increase the possible enchantment levels of an item. There must be one block of air between a bookshelf and the Enchanting Table for this to work.
Obtain by Fishing
Head out into open water and use your Fishing Rod to catch items with Infinity enchantments. The Luck of the Sea enchant will increase your chances of catching enchanted items.
Loot from Chests
EnlargeYou'll find Infinity in Treasure Chests in structures and dungeons around the world. Make sure you're properly equipped with armor and weapons since these areas will be infested with Mobs.
Trade with Villagers
EnlargeYou'll be able to trade items with villagers to obtain Infinity. Librarians will be your best bet since you can trade Emeralds for enchantments even at Novice levels.
You'll have to level up other Villager types to obtain their enchanted stock.
How to Use Infinity
Shoot Unlimited Arrows
As long as you have one arrow in your inventory, the Infinity enchantment allows you to endlessly fire arrows. This is great when faced with multiple mobs since you can just continuously fire at them without worrying about running out of ammo.
Keep in mind this only affects regular arrows, other types such as Spectral arrows will be consumed.
Combine with Unbreaking
While you have infinite arrows, your Durability will still be affected. This means you shouldn't just spam them or else your Bow will break. Make sure to equip the Unbreaking enchantment to further lengthen the usage of your Bow.
