To: The Faint Star can be unlocked once you reach Trailblaze Level 13 or above and have completed Long Wait for the Blade's Edge mission.
Long Wait for the Blade's Edge Mission Guide
As soon as you complete the Trailblaze Mission: Long Wait for the Blade's Edge, you will receive multiple messages. One of these will be from a researcher named Rocky. Respond to his messages to unlock To: The Faint Star.

| 1 | To reach Rocky quickly, teleport to Herta's Office aboard the Herta Space Station. Once there, exit immediately and Rocky should be right in front of you. |
| 2 | Speak to Rocky about his love life. He will task you to investigate why Lesley hasn't responded to his love confession. |
| 3 | Head down to the Storage Zone to begin your investigation. |
| 4 | Interact with the Airwave Repeater terminal inside the room to check for messages addressed to Rocky. |
| 5 | Before you can scan the logs, you will first need to fix the repeater. Exit the repeater room and go to the Disposal Site nearby. |
| 6 | Head across the orange bridge and retrieve the first Ultra Nickel Part from the chest. |
| 7 | Once the part is secure, go back across the orange bridge and head down the ramp. Defeat any enemies you encounter. |
| 8 | Use the control device on this lower level to activate the blue bridges and disable the orange bridges. |
| 9 | Cross the blue bridge and head to the central area. Defeat any enemies patrolling the area. |
| 10 | Use the control device in this area to activate the light bridge you will need later on. |
| 11 | With the light bridge active, make your way to the donut-shaped platform. The chest containing the final Ultra Nickel Part will be there. |
| 12 | Once the part is secure, use the control device hidden behind the boxes on the platform. This will activate the orange bridges that you can use to return to the entrance. |
| 13 | Return to the repeater room and repair the Airwave Repeater. Use it to check for any messages during 2157 AE, Months 56-present. |
| 14 | The message to Rocky will be damaged. Head to the Monitoring Room in the Base Zone to find out who tampered with the message. |
| 15 | Keep viewing the options until the Disposal Site footage becomes available. Select it to find that Bernard had something to do with the recordings. |
| 16 | Head back to the Master Control Zone and confront Bernard. He will tell you some unfortunate news about Lesley while giving you two Signal Logs to give to Rocky. ・Red Signal Log (Truth) ・Blue Signal Log (Lie) |
| 17 | Return to Rocky and choose which Signal Log to give him. Either choice will complete the mission. Check out the full choice guide below! |

If you give the Red Signal Log to Rocky, he will profess his love for Lesley and vow to be with her. He tells you that he is going to leave the station to be reunited with her despite the time-travel problem.

If you give Rocky the Blue Signal Log, he will say he was foolish to think that he ever stood a chance with Lesley. He will be sad but also return to being a researcher aboard the station.

After clearing the mission, you can find Bernard in Master Control Zone. You can then return the unused signal log to him.
Returning the unused signal to Bernard unlocks the Diamond and Rust Achievement which rewards 5 Stellar Jades.
