Speak with Jadwiga in her workshop and choose to option to enhance your weapons, jails, or offensive Bequeathed Formae. Her workshop is located to the right of the elevator when facing it in the MagMell Institute.
Upgrading your gear to higher levels requires higher-tier materials. You can buy Customer Tokens from Jadwiga's Minions scattered across the map to unlock and purhase higher-tier upgrade materials from Jadwiga's general store.

Jadwiga’s Minions also offer gear upgrades. You can choose this option if you’re in another timeline and don’t want to return to the present just to speak with Jadwiga.

You only need at least 3 of each Tender Crimson Stone tier to be able to upgrade your normal weapons up to level 20.

Special weapons can only be upgraded until level 5, and you only need at least 1 of each Tender Light Stone to upgrade to their maximum level.

Upgrading your equipment increases their stats, making your attacks stronger while using them. This also improves your gear’s attribute modifiers, allowing them to scale better with your attributes.

Upgrading your Jail to level 11 is required to unlock your character’s second weapon slot. It’s best to focus on upgrading one Jail to unlock the second weapon slot faster.
