Resurgence Core is an aggressive boss that has multiple melee combos and ranged attacks that can make them versatile in any range. We recommend equipping the Mutinous Bracer to parry their melee attacks as much as you can for big openings to deal damage and eventually stagger them for a drain attack.
Keep in mind that you can also make use of the Reaper Jail since the initial spin animation allows you to parry melee attacks as well.

Resurgence Core is also capable of summoning various Tentacles throughout the field that can easily damage and stagger you from your blindspot. Watch out for black spots appearing from the ground as this signals that a tentacle will be summoned to attack you.
In order to avoid the tentacles, you have to dodge backwards as soon as the black spots appear since the tentacles have a fast attack animation that can easily catch you off guard.
Should You Guard, Counter, or Evade?
Watch out when the light bulb starts glowing as this means they will start summoning illusions to rapidly rush you throughout the arena. Make sure to focus on dodging their illusion attacks until the light bulb stops glowing so you can safely retaliate as soon as it ends.

You can find Resurgence Core at Luna Fraterna during the Rescue Lou questline after completing A Hero's End and the Luna Fraterna endings. Take note that after you complete the Luna Fraterna ending, you will have to select the Rescue Lou option to start the game in a different area.
All Endings Guide: How to Get the True Ending

Defeating Resurgence Core will unlock the Miraculous Bonds ending, which is considered the true ending of the game. Keep in mind that you will have to unlock the Luna Fraterna ending first before you can start doing the Miraculous Bonds ending, which you can start by selecting the Rescue Lou option from the main menu.
