Formae	How to Get	Effect
Statesman's Longbow	・Can be found inside a chest in Magmell Ruins at MagMell Island	A bow that fires arrows of light at incredible speed. Ready the bow and move the camera to aim, then press the Drain Attack/Bequeathed Formae button to fire. You can also move while aiming. Holding the button increases its power.
Battle Axe: Idris's Conceit	・Progress through Mastering Control of Time	A special axe that generates a temporal force field. Striking with the axe creates a wide-area shock wave. The axe's swing can easily break through shields, and its force field gradually builds up the slow status ailment.
Bloodreaver Blade	・Can be bought from Jadwiga	A long blade that slashes foes with a flash-draw strike. Hold the Offensive Formae button to enter a ready stance. Release to perform a slash draw. The timing of the release affects both motion and power. A well-timed release delivers a significantly stronger blow. This forma was devised by Astolfo, founder of the Anjou House of the Gula Bloodline. On the battlefield, he built mountins of corpses, his greatsword feared as the Bloodreaver, and he himself revered as a god of war.
Absolute Executioner	・Obtained by defeating Pioneer Queen Imogen	An executioner's sword wreathed in spinning gears and sparking blades. Unleashes a multi-hit downward strike. Hold the Drain Attack/Bequeathed button to increase the number of hits. This forma was created by Gregory, founder of Mcleish House and once an executioner himself. It's dreadful, machine-like shape of interlocking blades reflects his severity as a servant of the law. The crushing force of a single strike is said to carry a grim mercy for the condemned.
Manus Rapacis	・Can be bought from Jadwiga	A grotesque hand that channels the Resurgence's power into a searing beam of light. Fires a long-range laser directly ahead in a straight line. While firing, you can aim to adjust the beam's direction.
MK Rosenritter	・Can be bought from Jadwiga	Twin triple-barreled Gatling guns that turn a wide area into a bullet storm. Ready the gun and move the camera to aim, then fire by pressing the Bequeathed Forma and primary attack button. You can also move while aiming. Sustains continuous fire as long as the button is held and ichor remains.
Warhammer of the Fool	・Can be bought from Jadwiga	A fire-belching hammer with three froms. Initiates a chain of attacks starting from a heavy downward swing.
Wings of Eternity	・Can be bought from Jadwiga	The twisted wings of Valentin, transfigured into forma. Rains countless spears of light from above, bombarding a wide area.

Formae	How to Get	Effect
Bleeding Shield (Light)	・Can be found inside a chest in Magmell Ruins at MagMell Island	A shield that guards against enemy attacks and nullifies physical damage. In exchange, guarding consumes stamina. Perfectly blocking enemy attacks reduces stamina consumption. Equipping it slightly increases base defense.
Mutinous Bracer	・Can be bought from Jadwiga's Minion	A bracer that can parry enemy attacks. Respond to an incoming attack with a well-timed parry to deflect and break the enemy's stance. Successful parries consume ichor. They break the enemy's stance even if you have insufficient ichor but deal damage to the player.
Clotted Shield (Light)	・Obtained at the start of the game.	A shield that guards against enemy attacks and reduces damage. In exchange, guarding consumes stamina. Perfectly blocking enemy attacks reduces stamina consumption. Equipping it slightly increases base defense.
Shield of Stupor	・Obtained by defeating Franz the Dejected Assailant	A shield that guards against enemy attacks and reduces damage. In exchange, guarding consumes stamina. Perfectly blocking enemy attacks reduces stamina consumption, as well as produces a field that applies the stone status effect. Equipping it slightly increases base defense.
Bleeding Shield	・Can be found inside a chest in Abandoned Land at Corroded Scar	A shield that guards against enemy attacks and nullifies physical damage. In exchange, guarding consumes stamina. Perfectly blocking enemy attacks reduces stamina consumption. Equipping it increases base defense.
Umbral Shift	・Can be found inside a chest in Seized Substation at Sunken City	An evasive forma that enables quick stepping. Activate it while holding in any direction to step. Equipping it slightly increases base defense.
Bloodsoaked Shields (Heavy)	・Can be found inside a chest in Grotto Military Site at Undead Forest	Floating shields that guard against enemy attacks and reduce damage. Can block attacks from all directions, but doing so consumes stamina. Perfectly blocking enemy attacks reduces stamina consumption. Equipping them greatly increases base defense.
Dodge Spin	・Can be found inside a chest in Frontier Observation Post at Undead Forest	An evasive forma that enables quick short-range movement to avoid attacks.

What Are Formae?

Weapon Formae Are Slottable Skills

Weapon Formae are essentially the skills you have equipped on your weapon, allowing you to customize your general playstyle and perform unique moves and buffs. You can slot in four Weapon Formae, as long as it's compatible and does not exceed the Formae build of the weapon.

You Can Duplicate Weapon Formae

If you are especially fond of a Weapon Formae, you can duplicate that and equip it to other Weapons. However, do keep in mind that you cannot duplicate a weapon's original formae, only those that you have gained through chests, shops, or pick-ups!

Bequeathed Formae Are Special Weapons

Bequeathed Formae, also known as Offensive Formae, are weapons with unique and special properties, oftentimes having the ability to change the tide of battle either through area coverage of a massive burst. Using these formae will consume your stored Ichor and is heavily influenced by your current stats, which are defined mostly by Blood Codes and Boosters. Bequeathed Formae can be obtained either through chests, shops, or pick-ups!

Defensive Formae Are Your Main Survivability

Defensive Formae are slottable equipment that changes the foundation of your survivability. These Formae allow you to change how your defense goes in the game to set your playstyle, such as changing your dodge properties, getting a shield, or having the ability to parry. Defensive Formae can be obtained either through chests, shops, or pick-ups!
